When I try to start up Mass Effect 2: Collector's Edition I get to see the Bioware and EA Logos, and then the screen goes to black. After a while an error message saying "Logon process has failed to create the security options dialog." appears.

I've tried reinstalling and I still get this message. Help please.

also, when i click on the "support" option in the launcher, i get an Application Error. "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135) Click OK to terminate the application".
