i recall plenty of debate recently over modern day physics and the mass effect universe.

upon first arriving at the citadel, you come across a Gunnery chief, "lively" reprimanding a few recruits.

if you happen to listen to the whole speech, Bioware not only Confirms that our modern day "Newtonian" Physics still apply, but they can have devastating results if not heeded.
