Just curious if I can carry me my saves over from the first game into the second game? If you can then I'm also curious if you can then carry that information into DA: Inquisition.

Thanks and I apologize if I posted this in the wrong part of the forum. :)

You can import DAO saves into DA2. DAI doesn't have imports, but you can get your previous choices into it by using the DA Keep.

Thanks for the information.  :)

Is it easy to convert the save over if you're using Origin for both games?

Good to know that there's a way to bring my saves over to DA:I as well, I just picked up DA2 for 5 euro today and finding all this out is good news.

Thanks man, I'm looking forward to replaying DA:O and trying DA2 for the first time now.  :)

Importing DAO saves into DA2 is straightforward: the game lists the characters you've completed DAO with and you pick one.

Does it ask you in-game?

In-game yes, when you start a new game. Similarly, when you start a new game of DAI, it will ask if you want to import a world state from the Keep.

Obviously, you need to have all the games connected to the same Origin account.

You can have 3 different origin accounts one for each game and still be able to use your DA:O saves in DA2.

Just so long as you use the origin account that owns DA:I with the keep. The keep is not a save game importer, you will have to re-create all your decisions on the tapestry.

How many decisions are we talking about numerically speaking?

About 60, I would say.

The Keep is essentially a big questionnaire for DAO and DA2, where you mark the various choices: did this, killed him, didn't do that and so on.
