I'm pretty proud of my names so far. The only one that has a duplicate is Declan. Valian, Aileann, and Jorim are all unique at the moment.

Most of mine aren't made/uploaded yet, but I've got Kedariel (unique), Saya (surprisingly unique), Shuri (unique), Jimmy (will be 1 of 2), and Martin (will be 1 of 4) lined up to come on here :P And possibly Gonff (unique), if I decide to attempt that conversion from a non-human novel character XD

Nearly all my characters' names were copied from my frozen WoW characters, which were originally created with the built-in auto-generator then had a couple of their letters switched around.

All mine are unique, and, with the exception of my dwarf, I wouldn't be surprised if they stay that way. My dwarf's name is a fairly common Danish name.

Maybe I shouldn't say that, though. When I made Soteria on WoW she was unique there, too, and now there's over 100 of us. Names tend to multiply like that somehow. Of course, even as we approach 20,000 characters on this site, the WoW armory probably has 20-30 million characters on a conservative estimate.

Callantha - the only one
Rivie - the only one
Ritha - the only one
Rowan - one of seven, but not surprising considering it's a common celtic name and an important canon figure
Novaera - the only one. But I made this one up years ago, so I'm pretty sure it's unique.
Alicia - one of five. I thought there'd be more, honestly. It's a pretty common name.

I'm surprised as many of mine turned out unique as they did, really.

Drage - unique
Horak - unique
Arthon - unique
Althel - unique
Lok - unique, with about forty extended versions of the name, mostly Loki
Veldor - unique
Robert - one of eleven, through he was only a test character. and i intend to delete him as soon as possible

I pretty much expected most of my names to be unique, through I expected Robert to be more common

Characters with the default names around 200.
Maybe people like me don't want to give names which is realy out of Thedas, but with more knowledge on the background even we could be more imaginative. Like using a name of an elven god for a mortal elf is a heresy or a sign of respect,? They gain their name after animals Wolf, Fox, Bear and herbs like Lilly, Rose or rather atributes like Bald, Big Nose etc. or more literaly names like Starlaughter, The One Who Leapt Through Time and such. The human males tends to have Celtic, mostly Scotch names: Duncan, Alistair, Bryce, Fergus, so in that case there's a clue but with more knowledge about the Couslands who were famous and infamous family members there would be more names to play with. In the case of the dwarves Kys and Bargarun are male or female names?Image IPB A dwarven and an elven vocabulary would be nice and a Cousland family tree with name like Colin, the one who loved daisies, Garrick the Mad, Lisa the Not as Much Mad than Garrick would be a huge help.

My avatar's name is Arban.

I also have a red haired female mage called Ignita that favors fire magic. Yep a little word play.

Furthermore a Dwarf I simply called Duncan and some others I cant even remember the name of since I didnt really put much thought into it.
