Yeah there's one on nexus, "da2 Cassandra". I don't know why it's called that though..... And she looks exactly the same anyway, you have to strain your eyes to really see any difference, but maybe you will like it. Give it a shot.

If you want a slightly different looking Cass, I suggest going to watch or play Dawn of the Seeker and Dragon Age 2... although considering that she looks pretty much the same in both, save for scars and having her long hair cut short, her appearance is very much consistent across the board?

Although, that mostly depends on how tolerant the respective mod would be of "drama" and such. Elcor, I read your funny "Dear Admiral Hackett" thread, which only confirmed my assertions that Bioware mods have a strong "no fun allowed" tendency. (Or, it may be because the thread was in the "combat tactics" section, but still. Those seemed like good combat tactics to me.)

Nothing, which is my point. If Panda had ANY basis for her allegations and opened a discussion about sexism inherent in a particular mod or mod request... fine, not really the core of a modding topic, but whatever. But operating on nothing but a personal belief without any grounding in quotable facts to incite a debate about sexism... no. It's not even a debate to begin with, it's random musings about what random people might think, completely unsuitable to invite an exchange of arguments. I doubt even sociologists would accept that as a worthy discussion.

 

I'm hardly doing scientific research on here ^^; Like others I'm using my experiences, things I have read in here forums and my believes to discuss things. Why should I be the one to bring some kind of theory, methodology and raw material to here. It's possible to do sociological study on discussion forums, mostly likely with discource analyze, but that would take quite long time to pull off into study that is plausible. And there is lack of raw material at the moment, since mods have deleted certain threads like I said.

 

Not that you would probaply even acknowledge that cause you seems to be against sociology ^^;

 

So I think I'll just keep forums as forums for me, not something tied to my studies, but something where I can talk about video games using my memory, personal beliefes and experience like everyone else.

Yes, because appearance is the only thing someone should care about. He couldn't possibly have wanted to marry her because of her personality, her drive to be good, etc. It had to be the looks. 

Its a game, i'm not marrying a fictional character in a game, as i said i'm not invested like others seem to be, i do not live breath and drink dragon age, i play it for amusement, so modding a few characters to my taste is not a big deal to me.

Well, some are definitely more responsible for the sorry state of this thread than others. Since I criticised Panda for not providing any proof for her argument, I took the time and sampled the first five pages of this thread. It's even more depressing than I'd thought.

Obviously the categorisation is not waterproof, for example it's not MECE (mutually exclusive, completely exhaustive). Some posts were hard to categorise -- I counted borderline posts as productive/on-topic rather than the opposite. And just to preclude questions: I counted some of my own posts in the silly/meta category too. But it doesn't matter, the gist is pretty clear anyway.

Sorry state indeed: Almost half of all posts had nothing better to do than post gifs/memes or point out repeatedly that the poster had previous accounts/threads. Only 30% (16+19) actually lead a meaningful, on-topic discussion about the need or the lack of a need for a mod.

The OP would have to create a lot of accounts and a lot of duplicate threads to reach the same level of pollution as the one present in this thread. At this point I think it'd not be irrational to feel reminded of the old adage 'the pot calling the kettle black'.

Yes but it is much easier for him to not to spam the thread than it is for me to scroll through that rubbish.

Besides spammed treads tend to get locked pretty fast.

Will the upcoming mirror of transformation be locked to PC only ?

Imo they should allow to modify every companion. This way everyone would be able to tweak everything to their likings. No mods would be needed and it would work on every platform. Win-win for everyone.
