It's a rather childish cycle that is far too common on the bsn. Because people aren't actually punished for that kind of thing. They know that can succeed in locking threads by being off topic despite the mods actually having the power to hide such posts and issue warning points. You know.. Actually moderating, heh.

Oh they do their job, trust me. They're just rather.. selective about it.

Exactly.  I am sure BiowareMod3 hate me. I get all warnings from him except one. But for most post I should get warning I didn't.

To get back to the topic.

I do not really care to mod the companions into Porn stars and Celebrities, i personally would have loved different hair options, i'm not against females at all, i'd love to mod the males hair and beards as well as the females..

Sure if the mods completely changed some or all of the companions and i thought they looked far better i'd use them, as i said not invested.. But really the hair styles in this game are just bad....really bad, Inquisitor jammies bad imo...

And its game wide not female or male, just horrible, i apologise if this offends a dev who made them but damn wtf on those hair cuts..

I like Sera to bits but her straw hair style....yuk..

Personally, I'd like to see a mod that gives all male NPCs Dorian's Mustache and Goatee.

Except Blackwall. Got nothing on Blackwall.

Yeah, and Varric needs a mod that changes him into a genlock.

Eh, his redesign in Frostbite already did most of the work. All that's needed now is a retint, which luckily seems to be the easiest of alterations possible via mod.

I swear the only person that came out looking better after a redesign was Loghain, who got like thirty years younger. The Wardens discovered an anti-aging drug. Everyone else is either not that far from prior appearances, or "Oh God, what did you do" tier.

The communication on this thread hasn't been going smoothly, so I'll try to offer my perspective.

First, prefacing with the fact that I'm not concerned about OP modding Cassandra's face if he has the opportunity. It's all of his business and none of mine.

However, the majority of people in this thread who are criticizing OP and referencing his past actions on other accounts, are not doing so out of some mistaken belief in a "conspiracy," or accusing him of being a recurring troll based on this thread alone. They are basing the belief that VickVeel  Not-Brevnau was formerly Brevnau on a distinctive style of writing and explanation, shown here:

Apologies for offending anyone, but i am not into politics, I enjoy math and science instead.

I enjoy sexy beautiful women. There is such thing as a woman who is attractive to all men if you allow alterations in skin color.   Some men are attracted to bright skin while others enjoy dark skin tones, this has to do with upbringing, culture and the concept of opposites attract. It all breaks down to math not emotion.

Cassy has good skin tone and color that can be appealing to multiple flavors.

Isabella while on the boat should have deep tan skin, but since she has no boat and is at the inn most of the time, her skin should be whiter and pale.  The mod that make Isabella white skin is justified through environment, role playing and lore.

Attraction is purely scientific, geometrical and mathematical in nature.  One must study the science of attraction and then normalize the ideal woman that is sexually gorgeous to 99% of males.

It's hurtful that leliana, morrigan are stunning, but I am stuck with cassy's face :( It makes me sad, because she looks like, i won't say it, but it saddens me.  I have not had this problem in previous bioware content , I don't like what happening with this new bioware.

Brevnau didn't just make numerous threads about Cassandra's face. On his first try, he spammed a multitude of threads across the majority of the forum. There were threads in the story section, the feedback section...I believe there may have been one in the Off topic section at that time, and I know he made one relating to the matter in Off topic on his second (at least second) account: Brevnau. The systematic deletion of most of them took the mods several hours.

He also has some deap-seated complaints regarding what he deems to be the "gayness" of the current Dragon Age experience, of which he considers Cassandra's face to be a large factor.

Based on the evidence of his past threads, unique posting style and particular requests, many of us are inclined to believe that Not-Brevnau has been responsible for at least two previous banned accounts.

Again, I wish Not-Brevnau and those who want to mod Cassandra's face well, and I hope their wishes come true. This post is and FYI in the hope of tempering some of the vitriol of the past several pages, nothing more.

Isn't it strange? I felt it was appropriate for Cassandra to 'age' from da2 to dai (not... Criticizing..), but Loghain, man in his maybe late fourties to early fifty shaves off twenty years? What?

Fantastic diet and killer work outs or something along with a touch of darkspawn blood makes you younger folks. Loghain is evidence.

I feel that is fair to call attention to. The concern that this is the same poster with the same argument that was to my feelings inappropriate. Even his signature had an angry anti gay rant if I recall to Gaider. My discontent with how similar the romantic tropes were for straight males in this game has been lessened with bloodborne and my desire to level as many pvp builds as I can. Hah. Guess time heals all wounds..?

Maaaaan, I apparently liked a post in here that someone liked, and I apparently can't find it.

Oh wait- Dorian Mustaches for every man that isn't Blackwall.

...really, just give Dorian's mustache to everyone period who isn't Blackwall, period.

Cassandra with that facial hair would be pretty hilarious. Cullen might look better with it too.

EDIT:...it was on the last page...how did the search not find that...

Wow. I must admit, I had sort of forgotten what Cassandra looked like in DA2. She actually does look a lot more feminine in DA2 than she does in DA:I. I confess I hadn't really appreciated that since it is so long since I played DA2.

(I am not being sarcastic - I can mentally remove the moustache from the above, and went and did a google search for some DA2 pictures for comparison.)

For comparison

She looks a lot hotter to me without all of that black makeup everywhere.  <shrug>

I have to agree with Natashina on that - the heavy makeup seems a bit overdone (and I'm not really sure how it connects to her character...maybe Cass had a heavy makeup phase. Who knows)

What's funny is I actually think her jaw in DA2 looks bigger than in DAI. Like in Inquisition, they widened it a bit, but in terms of height it seems smaller (based on the two images - I also haven't played DA2 in a while).
