People are entitled to play the game however they like, and I am entitled to disagree with those choices. Hideous seeing people do this, although nothing came as close to being as disgusting as the mod which made Isabela white.
Are there mod yet that change Cassy's face?

Sera was hit with the ugly hair stick even worse than Cassie though. Seriously, she looks as if she got caught under a lawn mower.
Well, almost. It's actually because she cut her hair by herself with a knife (the hair got into her eyes). She tells that to Dorian during party banter and Dorian suggests using scissors next time. ![]()

Just to clarify with some of the people saying others are witch hunting the OP...
It isn't because myself and others expect people to be attracted to Cass, or anybody else for that matter. Everybody has their own tastes and preferences, attractiveness is subjective, after all. Hell, I'm not sexually attracted to Cass myself.
It's more to do with a certain troll who has spammed the forums obsessively in the past, and has made some pretty rude statements about Cass and Josie. This individual has even gone to the point of harassing the devs over it, once he was banned.
Speaking for myself now; I don't give two flying tosses whether people don't think a certain character is attractive or not. I just think it's pretty pathetic and narrow minded not to play a game, or to whine about a game, just because you don't get your dream virtual girlfriend.
Either use a mod, if mod is unavailable -- wait for one or make it yourself if you have the skills -- or get over it. Be single. If your sole purpose is to play a game to experience sex and/or romance then play a dating sim, or watch some porn. When it comes to this game's flaws, there are much bigger issues, starting with bugs and crashes.
Whether Cass has short hair or not is quite irrelevant.

To be fair, people also whine a lot about the appearance of virtual hair and clothing in the game and that's just as frivolous and tangential as the appearance of a virtual girlfriend. I don't see how one is really any more pathetic than the other (speaking as someone who has asked for better virtual hair and clothing).

Thanks for saying something. When I first got on this forum my game was sooooo messed up everyone was ugly and had an inch of grease on their hair and skin. Even the rocks and sand had it. Couldn't even go into a cave without my sunglasses. lol. They fixed it and wow what a difference. They even fixed the beard that looked like a dead rat on Blackwall's face. Everyone is beautiful now.

I agree.
I mean sure, most people agree that the hair, eyebrows, clothing and armour sucks. I think that myself, but it's the last thing that prevents me from playing the game. Plus, those things aren't really an issue if you play on PC because you have the option of using mods. Where as I don't, cause I'm an inferior console gamer. ![]()

I just think "pathetic" and "narrow-minded" are overly harsh admonishments for someone who complains that their enjoyment of a game is hampered by a small, fairly insignificant feature of it, when it's something that most of the users on here have been guilty of at one time or another. I don't see similar responses in "We need better clothes/hair!" threads, telling people to go play a Barbie dress up game instead of complaining and asking for mods.
Meh. It's just an observation.

Query: Why is it only these threads that get this response, and not the legion of trivial threads that flourish (and that Bioware actually listens to)?
Honestly, I think people care less about the topic and the thought that it might be "that guy" and more about trying to put themselves over by posting one of the ten animated .gifs that seem to float around the board and act all tough/snarky/etc about it.

Believe me, the trivial threads get the same responses too.. E.g that naked woman on top tier items complaint. But they're not quite as frequent as this one.
I actually find those sorts of threads amusing but after a while it gets a bit stale. Having said that I don't even know if Op is even the same person as the famous troll. If so I apologize, yet again, for my behaviour.

As someone who's started one of the wish list topics you condemn, I can promise you that they do. I began a thread asking people what they would like to see in future Love Interests, and I received a healthy amount of criticism for it, to the point where I began to regret doing so.
I've also seen no shortage of disgust pointed toward the threads about hair options and the skyhold outfit. People levy criticism quickly and often.
But attitude makes a big difference. If the topic is handled in a way that's polite, thoughtful, and respectful to other posters and the developers then a lot of the criticism tends to tone down, or be curtailed by other posters...like you can see occasionally happening here.

Apologies for offending anyone, but i am not into politics, I enjoy math and science instead.
I enjoy sexy beautiful women. There is such thing as a woman who is attractive to all men if you allow alterations in skin color. Some men are attracted to bright skin while others enjoy dark skin tones, this has to do with upbringing, culture and the concept of opposites attract. It all breaks down to math not emotion.
Cassy has good skin tone and color that can be appealing to multiple flavors.
Isabella while on the boat should have deep tan skin, but since she has no boat and is at the inn most of the time, her skin should be whiter and pale. The mod that make Isabella white skin is justified through environment, role playing and lore.
Attraction is purely scientific, geometrical and mathematical in nature. One must study the science of attraction and then normalize the ideal woman that is sexually gorgeous to 99% of males.
It's hurtful that leliana, morrigan are stunning, but I am stuck with cassy's face
It makes me sad, because she looks like, i won't say it, but it saddens me. I have not had this problem in previous bioware content , I don't like what happening with this new bioware.

Not to derail, but what? Unless the people criticizing are the "hurr hurr ur lonely cuz u romance a fictional character" crowd, what possible criticism could they levy? It's a pretty harmless thread topic if you ask me.

You mean it isn't? You'd have an easier time listing what people haven't managed to cram into an Elder Scrolls game since 2001. New quests, NPCs, attire, armors, weapons, lands, remaking entire games on new engines, bringing older ones up to modern graphics..

A part of it was my phrasing, which was poorly chosen. I titled it, "If you were to design your own LI."
Some found that concept icky and entitled. I don't blame them, I should have better represented my intent.

Good lord. Okay, two things. First, not all men find women attractive. Second, Isabela is of an ethnicity based on middle-eastern people. If someone is born tan, they're gonna stay tan no matter how much time they spend indoors.
At this point, I'm thinking you've got to be a troll. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, certainly, but yours are just too ignorant to be believable.
Not to mention, people whining about an LI/companion's appearance strike me as entitled brats. It's one thing if the issue is so bad that it affects everyone (the rubbish hair and outfits, for instance), but this is petty.
