I am all for dual wielding pistols as i'm sure the added weight will show in recharge time very well.
But dual wielding SMGs? That can be some crazy firepower. If they have the equivalent of Hurricanes? That's going to be pretty massive.

Batarian mob boss with dual Kishocks.

There is no Mass Effect 4. There is only a trilogy and that's it.
Same as there only being three Star Wars movies and only one Matrix film.
There is no way BioWare won't completely screw up ME4. Just look at the last games they published, especially DA:I.

QFT.
Ah, we've got an eternal optimist, here. Nice!
Yes well, I wish I was wrong about that... but ME4 will suck. It'll be a vehicle to lure players into micro transactions and meaningless DLC, using the good name of the franchise. I can already predict that it will look and feel very different to the previous games, it will simply be not a good Mass Effect game and more a generic space shooter.
If ME4 plays in the future, after Shepard... then it'll be like SW:TOR. Just look what they did with the KotOR characters there. Still can't believe what they did to Revan and Meetra Surik.
You can retroactively screw up excellent franchises and BioWare is bound to accomplish that with ME4. I mean... the ME3 endings are questionable already. Playing ME1 and knowing that almost every decision you make loses its meaning once you reach the Star Child changes how you experience the first game.
In my opinion a series should end when the story is done, not dragged out infinitely for profit. It has never resulted in anything good. Not with TV series, not with anime, not with movies and certaintly not with games. I believe it is better to end on a high note instead of ruining an entire franchise because you're greedy.

Damn I was in a good mood today...
I know I now fear that the Volus Sentinal won't make a return, and I won't be able to handle the shock and thus be forced to stop continuing with the next Mass Effect mp. ![]()

At least the ME series improved in the gameplay department with each release. And multiplayer is all gameplay. And this is why I have my hopes up. I only just wish the Volus Sentinal makes a return.

Yes, the multiplayer is the best part... but look at how they screwed up the MP for DA:I. I'd be very surprised if ME4 MP was anything like ME3 MP.

Well DA was never a multiplayer game to begin with. MEmp is already established and the foundation is very strong to begin with, All they need to do is make some minor improvements and it'll be Gold. So yes, big difference between the two.
Plus team Montreal is doing the next ME game, and wasn't team Montreal the same team that handled the ME3mp section before DLCs, while the others worked only on the single player experience? So yes, I have full confidence in team Montreal.

Disagreed. It matters a whole lot what I do with my Shepard because every decision before the Catalyst still defined Shepard's morality and accumulated experience.
The point of ME3 was the Reaper War. Not everything in the series could affect the ending and a lot of the side missions have nothing to do with it anyway. It's part of playing an RPG.
I totally agree. I replayed ME1 and ME2 recently and still feel very involved when it came to choose between Ashley or Kaidan, save the Rachni queen or not, destroy or keep Maelon's data, etc. Everything is not related to the ending, not in a trilogy with so many decisions to take and side-missions to complete.

I agree with that.
There's still a difference between making a -big- decision in ME1, like saving the Council or not... and making the same decision knowing that it doesn't change anything down the road.
Penalty of dual shotgun would be arms tearing apart, except for krogan.
but a volus, salarian, and quarian female can handle a single claymore without it ripping their arms apart.
so who needs physics accuracy?
also who needs realism when we have space magic and space rats/turtles/moles/bugs/whatever the hell the rest of them are?
edit: adding a smiley
