Should of came with extra gels or something, otherwise you'll be a much bigger hero of a pug game with extra rockets and doing a proper team revive while at the same time contributing to wave budget that pugs may be struggling with.

And I really don't get why BioWare brought this in when it encourages camping. Thought they were against it?

But yeah, if it came with extra gels, I would actually feel ok about bringing it from time to time, as I enjoy trying to help pugs out without too much dps in tow.

I don't think I've ever seen it being used.

The problem is you have to die to use it and you have to let everybody know you have it, so they don't gel (which in a team of BSN'er elitists is impossible, cos they are all rage-gellers, me included)

It's useless for PUGs games, yeah, but tactics can be build around it in team games with friends. This gear has helped my friends and I in a few occasions when we were doing very hard challenges in platinum (like level 1 characters only with common weapons or other kind of crazy stuff). Shines the most when fighting Collectors (because Scions' grenades + a-bombs = high possibilities of multiple deaths).

Used to see it in pug matches quite often. Not so much anymore, but still see it once in a blue moon.

This.

Also, a game with 4 Spitfire AIUs it can truly shine...whenever grenades run out, and you're all crazy enough to stand there like the T-100 who's in the process to raid the policestation in Terminator. But does that stuff anyway? Nobody is - that - crazy, right?

I used it all the time when Collectors first came out.  Everyone was dropping left and right and the Medigel Transmitter was quite useful in keeping the team alive.  The good old days of Scion double damage!

How is Scion damage different from then and now? 3 shots with double damage, 3 shots with "fixed" damage

Transmitter's like the one thing that requires you and the rest of the team to suck. Terrible concept.

But that's not that uncommon now is it? Is strange how this game works isn't it?

The damage was halved to correct for the double damage or did I remember wrongly?

Yes. You are totally right. They did halved the damage of Scions. But what I mean is - it doesn't matter. Halved or not, the Scions kill you in 3 shots anyway. They would kill you in 1 if not the gates.

which in a team of BSN'er elitists is impossible, cos they are all rage-gellers

There's a special place in hell for rage-gellers. I hate failing on wave 10 because the others can't wait for me to revive them on waves 1-3 and run out of gel.

Pro tip: it is not shameful to be revived. It is, however, shameful to waste medi gels for no reason whatsoever.

If I die 6 times a game or more, that means I really sucked and I probably don't deserve to extract anyway. And I die and gel on wave 1 just to get over with it

The transmitter is extremely useful for when your team totally wipes fast and becomes nastily surrounded..... 4 teammates waking at once means less near insta death
