you don't have to die to use it, just press it near them.....
Wat?
Am I missing something? Pressing the medigel button when I'm alive does nothing, except helps me to reload cancel. It does not revive fallen teammates ![]()

did you do that with the transmitter on?

I'm learning new stuff everyday, it seems.
did you do that with the transmitter on?
Yes. ![]()
just be in range when you use it and you can pick up all teammates that are downedYes.

I have Medigel Transmitter 5 it covers half the map and it doesn't work.
Am I feeding a troll right now?
There's a special place in hell for rage-gellers. I hate failing on wave 10 because the others can't wait for me to revive them on waves 1-3.
Pro tip: it is not shameful to be revived. It is, however, shameful to waste medi gels for no reason whatsoever.
Most folks rage gel because they get too caught up in the epeen games. And the more you down, the smaller you epeen gets. Hence the insane popularity of rage geling.
And don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
i have been revived by it several times, just get close enough, it doesn't have a big of a range as people sayI have Medigel Transmitter 5 it covers half the map and it doesn't work.
Am I feeding a troll right now?
^^ Yes, but have you revived anybody this way, because it ain't working for me!
It has a 30-meter range... If I get any closer, I could revive people the regular way...
well its more for when there are multiple teammates so its faster or when there is something between them and you^^ Yes, but have you revived anybody this way, because it ain't working for me!

I don't rage gel much, but I will self-revive on early waves if I'm taken down and things are hairy because I don't want anyone to get taken down trying to revive me.
Transmitter's like the one thing that requires you and the rest of the team to suck. Terrible concept.
Terrible concept or a crutch? Think about it. A very scrubby team could save countless Medigels this way; they just need to make sure the team dies together each time. Biovar, please nerf!
I recall trying the medigel without dying before. And just tried it again to same results. It does not revive others unless you're dead too.
I can just imagine the guys who designed this sitting in a meeting.....Lead Designer say's..."Ok, now we need to come up with the most worthless thing we can think of...any thought's?... Guy #1 raises hand.."How about "Explosive Rounds"? ...Lead Designer..."No, wait I got it!!!!!!! (medigel transmitter is born)
Well, I can imagine BioWare coming up with something so scrubby, since they themselves don't know how to play this game. Remember, they tested everything in this game on Silver difficulty up till last DLC. Which explains a lot.
So please BioWare, hire some folks that can play videogames for testing and balancing. Or at least someone dedicated enough to getting good enough at this game.

No,no,no,no you're not hearing me... It does not work the way you described. It won't get up fallen teammates, unless I go down with them.
Medigel Transmitter only makes sense on a terrible pug Volus;
"Kssk. Oh no! My payday pugs are all down! Kssk. I'm a coming payday! Kssk. Suit losing pressure. Kssk. Ah! I'm down. Kssk."
*Rage Gel*
"Kssk. My work here is done... Kssk! Enemy!" Runs cowering with fear in hopes that argo dump kicks in while always spamming shield boost at the same time.
Still think it should just give you a ranged res.
well people have revived me that way b4, i will have to try it myself laterNo,no,no,no you're not hearing me... It does not work the way you described. It won't get up fallen teammates, unless I go down with them.
If anyone ever used it, it would be good for London hacks.

To be honest, you can't completely blame Bioware about testing things on silver. After all, back then majority of games where played on bronze or silver. So, naturally they would do that balancing according to that.
But the funny thing is how really broken the game is by Silver standards.
And yeah, I can understand at the beginning. But all the way up till the last DLC even? No. They should of just made sure someone was still learning the game to make sure the game gets proper refinements. It's a paying job. Earn your credits.
Sadly there's another issue. The far too casual gamers issue. Because they rule the world, EA & BioWare have to make sure they are happy too. So here are some stimpacks, resurection mode & medigel transmitter. ... Oh, it's too hard to get close to enemies so lets be sure the Reeger melts instantly too.
Oh, and considering how complex this game is, it's still a miracle it's as balanced as is. I just thrive for more perfection, like always.
The problem is you have to die to use it and you have to let everybody know you have it, so they don't gel (which in a team of BSN'er elitists is impossible, cos they are all rage-gellers, me included)
You nailed that!!!
If my trigger finger was as itchy as my medigel finger I'd...........probably need some kind of ointment.
Plus I would kill all the things ![]()

Yeah, I have no idea how they can say that Javelin or Typhoon or the like could ever be considered "balanced" on silver ![]()
As for last DLC, you assume that these characters were meant to be balanced. Because I don't think so. In my opinion, by the time they released that DLC, they already knew they were quitting active support of the game. So, they though, why not just give people some characters that they could have fun with? No matter if they are really balanced or not.
As for casual gamer issue, I won't really complain. Because without all of those casual gamers, we wouldn't have games like this or many others.
It can be useful when you're planning on blowing the whole team up during the last 10 seconds of the extraction wave with some possessed abominations...
