Not me. I missed so much.

They've settled parts of England (Sussex, Essex) and my homegirl Lagertha is some kind of big shot correct? And The Purifier is the king of England? And that deliciously slutty high born woman is trying to get the vikings to kill her family?

That about right?

You lost me with the Purifier, and that there's no one king of England, there's for kingdoms, Northumbria, Wessex (where the settlement is), Mercia (the princess who wants her family dead) and another that hasn't been mentioned.

Lagertha is an earl so yeah, pretty important now.

*snip*

I'm now bummed that Techno Viking wasn't rocking out in the background while Floki was making his way through Kattegat to kill Athelstan.

Getting back on topic Porunn's moping is starting to become annoying. One more episode of that and I'm going to start sacrificing to Odin asking that the writers kill her off.

That spoiler though haha.

Yeah, I get that she's disfigured but it's not that bloody bad, like **** woman, you tried to give your baby away because you got a scar

I read Vinland Saga. That's close to anything Viking related I have experience.

Linus Roche played the Purifier in Chronicles Of Riddick. Thomas Wayne in Batman. Some king in Vikings.

Wow. I'm a huge nerd.

I'm more concerned with the use of 'thorn' as opposed to P or even the more acceptable Th than the latter half of her name, but I will be the first to admit I can't understand what they say half the time

I just started watching Vikings recently (It'd been on my amazon instant list for a while but I got caught up watching cartoons I watched in the 80s, that nostalgia), and just finished season 1 today.

Having a lot of fun with it. I'm especially interested in seeing what Rollo is going to do, since he's gone back and forth on the whole betraying his brother thing.

I think it's pronounced as a Th but can be spelt with a P

So the not fat one then?

No, it can't, its just anglicized to P because we gave up the letter after the Normans conquered the Saxons.  Th is a more acceptable anglicized version as it maintains the pronunciation.

It'd be like spelling the Latin V with a U just because they look similar.

Way better than GoT's Blackwater, and I really liked Blackwater.
