Behavior screen is cut off in 21:9 aspect ratio.  Is there a way to fix this without dropping res?  I picked this game up yesterday as it was on a spring sale on Origin's website please don't tell me this issue wasn't fixed in 6 patches?

If you check out the first line of my signature, there is a lot of tips for PC graphic tweaks for the game.  The OP should have something in there regarding the aspect ratio.  If not, please ask him.  It may take a day or so, but the OP is very helpful and will get back to you.

I appreciate your trying to help.  I did use a few of those tweaks while others were way over my head (ie Wasted 3 hours on sweetFX).  Im just wondering if there was a fix or work around for the 21:9 aspect ratio and if not will it ever be implemented?

Simply drop resolution to 16:9 compatible, geez.

 

It's obvious you DO NOT have the monitor width to handle 21:9 from what I can gather.

WHY have a resolution like that, if it's not buddies with your monitor.

And even if you actually get the damn thing to be full screen, then the picture will be deformed. Because, yeah. There's a whole boatload of pixels your monitor won't be able to display properly.

I'm not sure where you got confused.  My monitor is a 21:9 monitor.  I am borderless everywhere thanks to "Flawless Widescreen".  Its the games inability to properly display the Behaviors page in 21:9 that is my issue.  Hope this clears things up.

That's one helluva wide monitor.

 

Very well, now that some light has been shed upon the situation, I admit to my previous lack of understanding.

 

Sadly, I do not know of a way to help.

Elite: Dagerous may work with that wide screen but not DAI. Think about it. It was designed from the start with Next gen consoles that hook up with TVs.
