In the Tower Base level of Legacy, there is a fight involving a Hurlock Alpha and a Genlock Alpha in which my mage Hawke keeps getting killed. The thing is, Hawke is usually a fair distance away from the enemies when this happens, and does not show ANY damage numbers when killed. All I've seen is some blue smoke and, poof!, he's dead.

I've noticed the Hurlock Alpha yelling something at the same time, and sometimes the Genlock Alpha slams his shield on the ground. But I just can't figure how Hawke goes from 100% to 0 so suddenly.

Anyone know what's going on? Does that Hurlock Alpha War Cry or Rally do enough damage to insta-kill?

I'm playing on Nightmare. This insta-death didn't seem to happen in the earlier fight with the Hurlock and Genlock Alphas.
