Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that anyone who preordered the game to get special items would have been better served just biding their time. I preordered the game so as to receive items that would not be available in the deluxe version of the game or at least would not be available until a year or so down the line.

 

Now according to this and this, it appears that the preorder items were only deluxe items that EA/Bioware held out on for a few extra months:

 

Can someone tell me if there are any preorder bonus items that were not also included with the buy anytime deluxe versions of the game?

Well I look at it more like an investment in games I like and figure the cost will drop, but front end investment could be a make or break business decision.

Those pre-order items were always a part of the deluxe edition (you get them automatically if you have a deluxe key).

You could get them either by pre-ordering or by picking up a copy of the deluxe edition. This was stated before launch.

The only exclusive promotions were from third parties (there's some promotion with AMD, and another from the strategy guide).
