We sure needed a judgment. It sort of baffling we don't have it and just let her stand in the library.

I'm thinking of all those tranquils she let horribly die to turn them into oculara.

On my canon playthrough I went the Templar route, but on a subsequent playthrough with an alt I conscripted the mages. Had there been a Judgement following that I would have had the Inquisitor make Fiona tranquil. It would have been a fitting punishment considering what she allowed to happen to the tranquil.

Or hand her to Arl Teagan if there were no tranquil option.

It sure was fun seeing Erimond's reaction to it after all the smugness he's displayed. But he was asking for it.

In that case, I sincerely hope he won't be lenient and show her no mercy this time. She deserves to be made tranquil or burn at stake after what happen, but the latter may seem too extreme as some people will be offended by it.

He had it coming after what he did to the Wardens, hell I personally think he deserves worse.

Varric is the worst of the lot, he even cracks a joke after being released about being glad to doing something productive again
Geez, Varric, it's almost as if a year of torture, malnourishment and red lyrium exposure hasn't taken its toll at all. Way to sell this "Dark future" crap to me.

dwarf a resiseresistant to lyrium . And varic is the one that discovered red lyrium so i think he is the most resistant person to it

And people stop giving excuse to Fiona i don't hate her i like her story and her son . But tbeir is no mind control or blood magic she was searching an alliance . She came to val rayaux after she hear the inquisition seeked the help of the templar to propose her people over the templar
but when Alexuis use time magic and go there before she know about the inquisition moove .
she just join him with pure will . Cause tiventer gigive power and right to mages and that was she is looking for with her reblion . And the mages follow her cause she is their leader .
She was a stupid weak leader . Bioware didn't screw her or give her bad ending redaction
i think iron bull sufred from a bad end quest from the Bioware but not fiona . They just show us what we didn't no know about her .maybe she is a nice persone and a goood mother . But a fool person and a bad leader end of the stroy . No blood magoc or brain **** or manuplation . Their is only one time trick to go their before she came to val rayaux that it

Dragon Age isn't that subtle, especially when it comes to establishing whether characters are under evil influence or not. If Fiona was indeed under blood magic manipulation then the game would have flat out told us during Alexius's sentencing at Skyhold or when you actually talk to Fiona again. Why leave out such a critical detail that doesn't actually add any kind of mystery, but as this thread has shown, only created confusion with the story's narrative?

Why not tell us that Fiona is Alistair's mother? It took years for the devs to confirm it, and people are still arguing to the contrary.

Anyway, I said it's a logical inference. That doesn't mean it definitely happened, but IMO it's likely for the very reason that Dorian states- he doubts that Alexius (or Corypheus) would leave such an important mission to chance. They're not just depriving the Inquisition of mages, they're hoping to lure the Inquisitor. It's a mission that Alexius can't fail or his son will die. And for Tevinters, using blood magic to get their way is like anyone else popping a lyrium potion- it's just what they do, if they have the capability and need it to get ahead. I'm sure it's left ambiguous for this very reason, i.e. to fuel speculation over Fiona's motives. Except some people won't even speculate, they're too blinded by dat sweet, sweet h8.

are you serious ? Their is no hate and their is Pro Dragon age fan here that know the lore from A to Z and story of each Npc out there . we know that fiona is alister mother . He don't know that and no one should no . He is the king of ferladan . This dicovery will proove that he is half blood elf and a have magic blood . This will litteraly destroy the ferladan Kingdom .
and we here try to act like real leader and from a inquisor perspective not a emotional teen that will go to a trap by a magister that control time magic to save a fool leader tricked by a magic trick and a banch of mage over an army of men trained to fight magic and demons . I m npt a mage heters a try my best to help them and give them rights .
but for the first time in Da serie templar have a job to do . What they trained all their life for . Why they endure all the pain of the lyrium ( see samson story and cullan story to enderstand what rhe chantry do to the templars ) . Not being a police for mages that not was the templar where made for they where made to fight demons and evil magic .
Like demons that pop from the breach and evil magic like alexuis Magic . Vanatory magics . CORYPH magic . They have a role to play now a real one . And i think mages their seilf would really like to join yhe inquisition to fight and not to flee to a magister . So fiona take the responsibility of that and not all the mages . mages will always born in the word . But iffif the order is lost it is lost for ever . Save the order now . AnD make it better for the young mages that will see life latter

You sound like an advertisement. I've done the templar side twice, no need to recruit. I conscript them because their chain of command has disintegrated. But I'll admit, personally I'm happy to see the order destroyed. It's done too much harm and can't be saved. Likewise I tell Cass to forget the Seekers. I feel bad for her since I like her, but that felt sooo gooood. :D Templar abilities are one thing, but until the Chantry and the templar order is toothless and on their knees, they won't acknowledge what they've done. That happens at the end of DAI regardless, so I'm satisfied.

As for Fiona, like I said, talk to Dorian. The idea that Alexius didn't use blood magic to influence her doesn't make a lot of sense. The only reason to argue that is that for some reason Alexius grew some scruples (I mean, really??) or because people hate Fiona so much they just prefer the idea that she went along with Alexius because she's stupid and weak.

you need to check someof your info , the chantry is the big evil their . not the templar they lie to evry one even the templars .  do  ser baris mission and you will a true templar  act out of chantry influence  . that why i  restore the order and i promote ser baris to kight - Captain . under his lead the templar will be back to the  poeple who protect the mages and not hurt them ,and the poeple who ask question about the **** of the chantry and act with  their honor and not follow blind order .
for the order of seeker i distroy it . cause it useless . they  are  the one that was coropted , and the one that used their autority to corupte  the templar  . they bring no good to the world .  Templaar oder  most stay , seeker need to bee destroyed . chantry lies must end .
for fiona  their is no mind control or blood magic . their is no referance or condex entry . only poeple who side with the mage pop ip with this excuses to justify  her action .  i hane nothing against mages or her . but i think mages will be better  without her .
she was tricked  by a time magic travel yes , but not  blood magic or brain wash , she joined with pure will .

I've gone with ally both times I went through the game.

Despite their flaws, they are the only organization in existence that can defeat a Blight. And there are still two potential archdemons waiting to happen. I think exiling the Wardens from Orlais is asking for trouble later on.

I exiled their tainted asses.

How unwise. That mean you're leaving Orlais exposed should the sixth Blight happen in the empire.  :P

But they ****ed themselves.

Well, in their defense, they were manipulated by Cory and Erimond. Their desperation and good intention drove them to do this, and while their action is damning their intention is for the good of all Thedas despite their ignorance.

Actually no.

The Wardens obliterating themselves as a potential threat is hardly unwise.

Perhaps the survivors will learn humility.

How dare they deem to know what is best for all life, that conceit, that arrogance is physically revolting.

One does not simply think sacrificing brothers in army to make a blood magic ritual to summon demon is a good idea.
