I love the Jaws of Hakkon dlc! It's more fun than most of the original game. They've made improvements that add to the immersive experience. After clearing a rift there is only one loot drop to find and there will be 7-8 great items. And it's stuff you need. I received two fade touched silverite after going the whole game without finding any and could finally craft the armour I wanted. Loot has tier 3 and 4 items including over 400 dps daggers.

The story is great..linear and logical with less doom and gloom feeling than the regular game. I actually read most of the notes now. The tree top camps are awesome. They're closer together and after some tough fights, it's appreciated. My mage was level 21 going in which is perfect. Camps look well funded now which makes sense now that the Inquisition has grown in power. Food, barrels for drinks, armour crafting tables, multiple exits and a great view.

The graphics are stunning. Not just the scenery but the way the sun moves and mist comes in. I just stared at the waterfall for awhile just like in real life, viewing it from different angles. Colorfull wildlife moving everywhere, even moths.

Subtle improvements add to the immersive feeling. I liked how some animals run away from you rather than continuing to fight. Others will come after you even if you disengage and don't want to fight. The same spiders that used to look like robots can be seen attacking other animals and your enemies more frequently. Less unnatural loot placements giving you a truer feeling of exploring. Good banter between team members.

Really enjoying this and hope to see similar dlc continuing the story.
