The "sexuality" in the first Witcher game was....if not disgusting, then pathetically childish. "Geralt is the most manly stud ever and all women will drop their panties for him at the slightest drop of a hat. Oh, and here, have a picture of a topless woman". It's like it was written by a horny 12-year old. Which is weird as most of the rest of the game was written in a genuinely adult and intelligent manner. TW2 admittedly, was less bad in this regard.
Few thoughts on where to go with the next Bioware game

So we can make all kinds of suggestions and point to other games that get a lot of things right. It matters not. Because all we will get is another attempt at implementing elements into a game that really does not know what it wants to achieve.
What the Dragon Age franchise needs is for EA to kick out the old hats and get someone in there with a solid vision for the future. Someone with real passion for Dragon Age, with the ability to look back at what actually, really worked in the previous games and build on that formula.
But even that may already be too late...
Totally agree. Dragon Age as a franchise has no identity, no persistent face. I wouldn't know how to describe Dragon Age to a new player who never heard of it. More than "high fantasy rpg with party combat" is kind of hard to determine.
After Origins I thought "ok, this is DA. I like it". DA II felt completely different with its new art design, combat speed, lack of rpg options. In my opinion it was a huge mistake. And then, after this game with very limited areas and diversity, DA I goes the complete opposite way with a vast amount of big areas. Although it lacks greatly with its story integration.
I can't predict how DA IV might look and play like. It could be a train simulator after all...

I'm Polish, I live in Poland and I can assure you that you're completely wrong.
It seems that you're judging an entire country by a single, silly game. Please, don't.
Actions of a few people doesn't determine the whole country. For most people in Poland that performance was cringeworthy.
And... You're bringing up Eurovision? Really?
Usually, Eurovision songs are for the lulz and everyone knows that. Here, have some completely random polish song: link. Yeah, very, very sexualized video.
Sorry for off-topic, but I won't let you to spread this misleading information..
Well - I guess I have to correct myself a little bit. It's a trademark for world-wide popular modern Polish culture, as the world doesn't know all 'ins' and 'outs', right? For example, ask people on what Mari culture looks like (I'm residing now with these folks). No one would answer. Just some assumptions made on what's known outside the Mari republic.
So I hope you get my point. I find my peace with the Witcher game/book/film series on that 'national flavour' basis.
No offence ever meant.
Btw, I really liked that tank concept you guys made for recent ArmsExpo. Looks very, very Mass Effectish! And the trailer for Team UK @2014 Winter Olympics, too.

.
We can all get lost in the misinterpretations implied by flashy commercialism as easily as DAI hooked us, so everyone take it easy and try to stay on topic before this gets out of hand.

Well, if a woman is going to have a fling with anyone, a witcher is a pretty good choice. No disease, no pregnancy, right?
I could not agree more. Consequences for you actions guaranteed by nature and ignored in so called "life-like games" Skyrim had mods covering both for the most part, pregnancy was a bit odd and diseases are more general, but add immersion. The 3dnpc children were great!

Here's a grand idea: Actual conflicts and resolutions that enunciate truths and qualities in characters. That would be a great place to go.
