ME3 Console Warning:

You actually can do both of these, it just takes some interesting finger placement.  I usually just use the Y button to reload cancel, or the A button if I am a dodgeless character.

 

I would just say get gud with a controller, I can headshot just as well as with a mouse (been console gaming my entire life).  It just takes a little patience/practice.

You don't need the latest and greatest games to enjoy Xbox 360 machine.  If you haven't touched a console, there's enough backlog library to last you for years.  When you're finally looking at getting the current latest and greatest AAA titles, they'll be in the bargain bin along with that console.  I don't miss the PS4 and Xbox One at all and I have enough backlog on Steam, GOG, Wii U to make me not care what's coming.

You should probably understand that the WiiU has available to it not only WiiU games, but Wii games, Super Nintendo games, and games for the NES, N64, and so on.

Get PS3 and watch it leak memories!  On a serious note, what exclusives do you like? That pretty much determines which console to go for.

Yes I guess that the Xbox 360 can be bought at a very interesting price in a second-hand store, and some old games for less than 10€. But I don't know, buying an old-gen console for a guy who comes from PC, while knowing that most of the biggest hits of the next months won't be released on PS3 and XBox 360 (some games in the last months like Assasins' Creed 4 were already new-gen exclusive)...That doesn't sound great to me.

If you have to pick a console, pick the Xbox.  Last time I checked, the PS3 version of Mass Effect 3 has a memory leak in which your performance will progressively get worse and worse the more you play unless you restart your system once every ~2 hours.  Plus Biovar always gave more support to the PC and Xbox versions anyway.  PS3 users got left in the dust for a lot longer.

I was a console user up until about a year ago, and now that I am on PC I never look back. Really don't understand someone wanting to purposefully downgrade their playing experience when you already have a gaming capable PC.

It might only have happened if you have one of the DLCs installed.  I don't remember the exact details of the problem and I don't know if it was ever patched or not.

has 2 be single player dlc then since i only got javik (free with game) and i have all the mp dlc obviously since im not on wii u

Reload cancelling:  Yes.  Finger placement is key too.  I use left index and middle fingers for the triggers on left, and ring and middle for the right triggers.  That frees up my index and thumb on right to mash buttons while yelling at the tv to go do bad things to it's mother.  It doesn't actually have a mother, but I think you get the point.

 

 

 

Running while looking around:  Nope, or at least not for me.  As soon as I mash down on A to run, it's tunnel vision until I release it.  Maybe my Xbox is missing a chromosome or something... or maybe your console is just super awesome.

Nah. It's just general hostility.  The Wii U ain't perfect.  Far from it.  Treating it and ME3 there like it's the scum of the Earth is just well... whatever floats your boat, I suppose.  Keep on hatin folks.

 

To think that I have the trilogy on PC and I still spend more time on Wii U.  Pop disc in, play as opposed to having to deal with the DLC authorization junk that keeps me from loading my singleplayer saves all the damn time.  Everytime I fire up ME3 on PC, it's the same sad fight to get in-game again.

but if you had it on ps3 you could start it as easily and still get all the characters and weapons

There are two separate aspects to it. First is that it's an Internet meme to trash talk anyone who has a WiiU as a moron who has no clue. This is regardless of any reason, such as buying it for Zelda, back catalogue, the ability for 5 friends to play co-op, or because one has kids.

 

The second is that people here hate everyone and everything: People who ask questions. People who play nearly any character available in the game. People who play for fun. People who don't play as well as them. People who play better than them. People who use powerful weapons. People who use weapons that are not considered to be powerful.

 

The point being, there's so much hate available and the triggers for that hate are so plentiful that anyone should expect to face it at any time. Yes, it blights the experience of reading and posting here. The compensating factor is that there are quite a few funny, generous, and knowledgeable people around here too.

 

That said, now I'm off to play the Reegar AIU with Grenade Capacity V on the WiiU

IF.  Better version is always relative to whatever is important to the owner.  For me, I prefer Wii U over PC.  I play it so much the disc is damn worn out and I spend only a fraction of the time on PC.  I have no idea how it is on PS3 nor do I have any interest in knowing.  I know the DLC differences between all the versions.  The Wii U one has been no hassle, some DLC included on disc and a heck of a time starting new Shepards with different ME1/2 decisions.

 

That's not to say you should like the Wii U version.  There are upsides for me with this release.  I'm happy with it even though it could've been more.  And to me, this version beats the PC release every single time.

More mockery than hostility I think (about something they probably don't know, what is quite funny). They take advantage of the fact that there are only 1-2 WiiU players on the forum, so they don't risk too much retaliation. Just ignore them.
