If you have to pick a console, pick the Xbox. Last time I checked, the PS3 version of Mass Effect 3 has a memory leak in which your performance will progressively get worse and worse the more you play unless you restart your system once every ~2 hours. Plus Biovar always gave more support to the PC and Xbox versions anyway. PS3 users got left in the dust for a lot longer.
i never get that problem on ps3
Ah yes. "I never had that problem so it can't be real!"
not every1 wants 2 play that

the WiiU has available to it not only WiiU games, but Wii games, Super Nintendo games, and games for the NES, N64, and so on.
Does that include Mario Kart 64 and Perfect Dark (for the 64), the two best games for that console? Because if so I might have to buy a WiiU and retire my 64 finally.
I was a console user up until about a year ago, and now that I am on PC I never look back. Really don't understand someone wanting to purposefully downgrade their playing experience when you already have a gaming capable PC.
Because a console costs about $400 and a top-line gaming PC costs an order of magnitude more than that. Also PCs become obsolete much faster than consoles. The 360 is 10 years old and still has games being made for it that Just Work when you put in the disk. I challenge you to get a PC from 10 years ago to run today's PC games.
Now that I am older and wiser I am more than willing to accept slightly worse graphics and performance in exchange for much cheaper costs of ownership.
Going from PC to console is like going from fuckin a porn star every night to your wife.
Yes, but the porn star is moody, temperamental, only sometimes puts out, and expects expensive gifts all the time. While your wife only requires flowers and dinner once in a while.
some games are across both the 360 and XBone IF you bought a digital copy.
I am not aware of any game like that (where the exact same code works on both 360 and One, which have different architecture), but if you can find a source for this info I will stand corrected.

Dunno, but look through this list:

In addition to those good points, factor in that you want to play co-op with a friend. The cost of doing that doubled the price of the PC. For many console games it expands to spending a few dollars on an extra controller.
Four player Mario Kart with the family laughing and cursing on the sofas in front of the big screen is very different from sitting at your desk with your PC being a serious gamer.

It's not quite like that. When the Xbox One was being released, a lot of games were sold on 360 with the understanding that one could then get a free copy for the One within a timeslot of 6 months or a year. Battlefield 4 definitely did this.
When it comes to ME3, I'm a PS3 player. Although I'm a PC gamer as well. I've played Mass Effect with a controller and with an M+K setup, and I honestly prefer it with a controller. I find it much simpler to manage the abilities in the third game via the triggers. In the end it comes down to your personal preference. Although I will say if you are going to try and use M+K with a system, best of luck to you, because most games on consoles do not support gameplay using M+K.
Have a fantastic day,
~Kya
Reload cancelling: Yes. Finger placement is key too. I use left index and middle fingers for the triggers on left, and ring and middle for the right triggers. That frees up my index and thumb on right to mash buttons while yelling at the tv to go do bad things to it's mother. It doesn't actually have a mother, but I think you get the point.
Running while looking around: Nope, or at least not for me. As soon as I mash down on A to run, it's tunnel vision until I release it. Maybe my Xbox is missing a chromosome or something... or maybe your console is just super awesome.
No I was wrong, you can't look while running. For some reason I could have sworn you could. My baaaaad!

O I C.
That's actually pretty cool that game developers and Microsoft would do that.
I don't have any plans to buy a One... I already have enough games for 360 to play for the rest of my life, probably.
ME4 might entice me over but after the lackluster DAI, I am dubious.

Between X630, WiiU, Steam, GOG, Origin, and Desura I could certainly say the same. By the time I get to the end I could just start again ![]()

I think Destiny did that as well. PS3 copies could upgrade to a PS4 copy within a certain timeframe. Granted, you're starting all over again because the manifest won't transfer over, but still.

Yeah fabstiny did that. I started it on 360 with digital copy, then got xbone and downloaded the game free on xbone. Everything moved over because everything is saved server side (cross platform wont work though).

Destiny is the one that a friend said transferred over as long as it was digital. No idea if manifests transferred or not though but he had a lot of goodies when he came over from 360 so I would think it does. I'm hoping like hell they remaster ME3 for the new console, already grinding through BL2 again but that ME itch is wearing on me.
And ninjad so apparently manifest does transfer on destiny. Also transfers on BL2 if you upload your characters to the cloud on 360.

hacking to get a max manifest takes away from the accomplishment
What's that saying about people in glass houses? Still got that maxed TGI? And how many others was it? 22? ![]()

You forgot the yearly fee to play online, and your games tend to be far more expensive than the PC version. I usually only have to upgrade my GPU every 3-4 years and that upgrade is about 200-300$. The play experience is better I am sorry you can argue that graphical fidelity doesn't matter, but a higher framerate is objectively better (that line about 30fps being cinematic is the biggest load of bullshit).
I used to be a console player, but I saw I could upgrade my GPU for 200$ as opposed to buying a new console and I have never looked back. I won't argue that the consoles do have some benefits, but they are only really cheaper in the short run. Long run a PC will save you money.

Everyone does or will eventually. It's a major hardware issue and it happens after playing the game for an extended period of time.
You're not special.

The fallacy in your post is that you are assuming all use cases are the same as yours. (It's a common error, and one that results in many technology failures every year.)
In the specific instance that the purpose of the machine is for your own personal gaming convenience, and if you have the cash to lay out without hurting, then you are probably (mostly) correct. In other cases, less so, and in further removed cases, totally wrong.
I like that I can put my console on a table or in an entertainment center and forget about it.
With consoles I only need a controller., I can turn the console on with the controller, I can relax on my couch with the controller. I can use a giant ass tv and bask in my super low framerate.
point is: stop trying to go back to circa 2012 when the PC mustard race "ruled" all.
hacking to get a max manifest takes away from the accomplishment
I do kinda wished that on PC I'd be landing on hacked lobbies with a ton of credits pay out. It's not about the accomplishment of max manifest. It's that there's a whole lot of things locked and I wanna use them. ![]()

You are correct I made many assumptions in my post, but most of the time when someone wants to argue for the console over the PC they make their own assumptions. It really comes down the the individual. Consoles are better for some people while others will do better with a PC. The PC primarily worked for me because I had an existing system which needed only an upgrade to the GPU for someone starting from scratch the initial investment can be daunting.

I'm quite certain I can find a 10 year old PC that can run anything at the 360's quality.
And you'd be surprised what you can play on an older PC if you're willing to turn the graphics way down. Not that I recommend that but it's totally doable.
Realistically I find getting and maintaining a decent gaming PC costs me about a 150 a year. Access to steam sales for most of my games more than makes up that difference. And hell if you've already got a rig for internet and all that good business then it doen't cost that much more to go ahead and get the one that can run games next time you have to switch out.
But as someone stated earlier situations will vary.
I didn't hack to get them. a bug in-game and changing game files are completely different
Haha no they're not. You actively exploited a weakness in the game's coding to help overcome your own shortcomings as a player. I'm paraphrasing what you said about needing the Fitness points as you were low on Cyclonics, which is also known as a L2P issue. One or two glitched builds could come about accidentally, but not 23. No way, no how, not ever. A pc hacker does exactly the same thing - exploiting a weakness in the game's coding. You are changing the game from the way it was intended to be played, and are guilty of something which carried a ban for cheating when the game was being actively policed.
Now, as I've said previously, I don't give a **** if you want to play with glitched builds, but I will continue to call you out on it if you make morality judgements on what is acceptable behaviour when it comes to how other people enjoy the game, or when I see you talking rubbish "offering opinions" on whether other people are playing characters to their optimum, such as the Collector, who spent most of his time face down in the one game we played, despite those extra 21 points.
