The Last of Us is prettier on PS4, in addition to having a very intriguing plot. Uncharted 1 and 2 were good. The third was rather lackluster.
Maybe Resistance and Killzone weren't my kind of games but I found them incredibly boring and difficult to play. inFamous is one of the best series that I've played though, so I won't argue with that.
Agreed on much of that - Uncharted 3 definitely lacked something overall, and a better ultimate boss battle in particular, but it sure looked pretty and played smoothly. And that plane scene..... man, that was something else. Of the others I mentioned, i agree that Infamous was by far the best, but I enjoyed the relatively local setting of the first Resistance game so that's what sucked me in - it has a couple of really cool weapons too. Killzone 2 is the only one of that series I actually finished, but I did quite enjoy it.
I have no doubt I'll upgrade to The Last of Us on PS4 at some stage, but for the time being the PS3 version still deserves recognition for running so smoothly without any loading delays or 'tells' that something big is about to happen - it's completely seamless. And I have to say I enjoyed its cinematic qualities more than any film I've seen in around 15 years.
I don't use cyclonics so im not short on them, don't see how you have played with me unless you play on ps3. last few times i played collector I didn't die much and when i did i gelled so....also I didn't say its wrong to hack to get
the manifest i said it was different than using something that's already there. I wouldn't hack to get my manifest because i want to complete it despite the rng bs
You previously claimed you needed the extra Fitness points because the rng didn't give you any Cyclonics. Do try to keep up with your own BS.
You can continue repeating the same lie that they're hacking and you're not, but it doesn't change the fact that you had to put considerable effort into exploiting a weakness in the programming, in order to change the game so that a third of its characters are broken in your version. But it's still not hacking. And it doesn't in any way affect your right to criticise what other players get up to. Ok. Fine. Got it.
What you actually said earlier in this thread was -
hacking to get a max manifest takes away from the accomplishment
That is quite clearly a value-based (mis-)judgement, and another example of you expressing an opinion on something of which you have no personal experience. And regarding the Store explicitly, there is no 'accomplishment' in overcoming the hurdle of a random mechanic, whether by hacking or earning credits or spending what would have to amount to literally thousands of dollars. None. It's random. No skill is required.
How could we have played? How?!? If you're on PS3? And I'm on......... ta-daaaaa.... PS3? Inconceivable!!!

We were on Glacier against Reapers a few weeks back. You died. A lot. You gelled, yes, but I also revived you twice or maybe three times. And did most of the objectives. If you don't remember me, I can only imagine that finishing a distant third is such a regular occurrence that you couldn't possibly be expected to remember all the other players' names. Even the ones you see but fail to notice on a regular basis........
Why not look me up? My manifest has nothing to hide. Pity we can no longer say the same about yours! Honestly, having a private manifest while making opinionated posts is, to use a word I've seen you throw around, more than just a little bit lame.
