Hi all,

Just want to say, that in my opinion bioware should kick out their armor and weapon design team. Almost all armors and weapons look rediculous... sooooo baaaad. It ruins the game for me. My hero looks like XVIII century  gay with his hat and slim trousers with gorset jacket and bow which dropped from mass effect 3 space ship. seriously WTF!?!?!?! This should be a MEDIEVAL FANTASY game. MEDIEVAL.

Seriously I'm not gonna buy any of bioware's **** anymore.

P.S

Also the game is full of masonic writting, symbols, and all that bull ****.

Since when homosexulity and the eye of the illuminati is a main background for a medieval fantasy rpg game???!

Yeah, I'm spending my money to get brain washed instand of enjoying an rpg game.

2 out of 10. ( 2 for a nice landscape design)

P.S. Edit:

Bioware's moderator edited my post, deleting these words: gay and homosexuality. SERIOUSLY? HOMOSEXUALITY and GAY are not vulgar words and am I offending anyone by using these words? Why bioware is so concerned of the fact that somebody doesn't like homosexual content in the game?

I guess we're all entitled to our own opinion, but friend, I wholeheartedly disagree with your final rating. I mean have you factored in lore, battle mechanics, and overall effect?

Ah, those wonderful days in the Circle of Magi of Ferelden, wearing a...DRESS/robe...! WHAT!

Nope, I think the armours look decent this time around, although the fact that the devs felt to make every single armour look almost exactly the same on the companions get a dirty look from me. I guess they went the same way (with a twist) as DA 2, where you could only upgrade the armour the companions wear. You'd think with EA behind them they could have spend more time on developing unique looks for the different armours (on companions).

That being said, I personally like the look of (most of) the armours.

As to it being medieval, well, cough cough, - magic, dragons, darkspawn, elder ones, etc. etc. Nope, this is a FANTASY universe, so I guess anything goes

Oh, and I give the game more like a 7.5.

It loses points for:

- not being able to speak to companions wherever, whenever (done way better in DA Origins)

- restricted tactical setup menu (everyone pretty much on auto pilot)

- somewhat pointless areas, not tied to the main quest (which can feel a bit grindy)

- shard location - Really? Actually, shards in general

- changing the nature of magic when it worked very well (DA Origin taught a much better lore for the way magic worked)

- load screeeeeeeeeens

- and some minor stuff.

But in terms of lore, character interaction, and depth of story, it rocks (imho)

-

Nothing wrong with armor designs. What is wrong is that npcs have the good armor. We are stuck with trench coats.

I suggest you do some background research. The all-seeing eye doesn't originate from Illuminati.

Obvious deflection is obvious. Chardonney is obviously an obvious agent of the Illuminati, shame on you.

Beside the fact that the armour are really like four model with very little variations on all the classes, I quite like them.

And, maybe someone haven't noticed... but Orlais is more Reinassance than medieval. While Ferelden is more medieval feeling.

And for all that stupid stuff about Illuminat etc...really? someone still believe in that crap? A simbol is a simbol. It doesn't have any meaning, if not in the eye of the observer.

I think the designs are fine. Needs more variety tho. Especially for qunari. And by variety i don't mean slight changes of the same armour.

This.

I think DA:I overall had the best looking armor designs of the series. The only flaw is that aren't many options at all for the Inquisitor, and that the best looking designs in the game are worn by your companions. Cassandra & Blackwall for example, have by far the best looking warrior armor designs.

The only thing that saddened me in armors is that I cannot wear Tevinter armors. Seriously. Venatori Marksman / Stalker armors are the coolest.

When it comes to armors, let's not also forget the Ferelden soldiers (Storm Coast, Redcliffe Castle), Calpernia's robes, the golden elven armor at the temple or Mythal... *sigh*

Then I hope they release the Black Emporium soon, so I can correct my characters skin color? You know, Africa hadn't been discovered yet in the middle ages.

It's about inclusion and fantasy. Nobody ever said it's "medieval". If your fantasy is a gameworld with no inclusion, then we have a problem. It would mean that you are a potentially dangerous individual.

Considering upbringing and cultural environment, it is okay to be afraid of unknown things, and a natural reaction is to lingering fear is give these things a negative connotation in turn. But that means you're no longer fearing but condemning it, actively fueling those negative feelings and ultimately turning them into aggression. That is worrying, and that is what I meant with "potentially dangerous" - I'm not accusing you of being violent and whatnot, but even without being a political activist, mindsets and passing those on to future generations is legitemately dangerous. That is what I mean.

Slavery and the geocentric system aren't "opinions", and neither is this.

You are probably laughing about this right now, thinking I'm taking this too seriously, because you only brought it up since you care so much about hisotrical accuracy. But remember: Despite the game not even trying to be historically accurate in the first place, you ignore all those other factors and bring these few details to the forefront. Nobody admits to being a bigot, I know you would never, because -shazam- the term has a negative connotation. For the sake of your surroundings, I hope you're able to realise that you're not being rational or anywhere in the right one day. I hope I can at least get you thinking.

I mean all of that sincerely - I wish you no harm, son. The opposite in fact.

Well, you know... First, I'm not laughing at you. I respect you like everyone else. If I'm angry? Yes, the obvious illuminati impact on this game makes me angry. Because it is so wide, that I can't focus on a gameplay.
I don't meant to be rude, what I wrote it's just my opinion. As far as I can see, you are a person who can accept everything, even the way of thinking which isn't yours. Because if  you believe that everyone who has different opinion is a potential danger then.... you got the answer. Fear is a patch to the dark side... or to self motivation and leads to rise of courage and strong will. Yoda was a pessimist then. If the globally confirmed behavioural teaching is telling you something, then probably in 99% it's gonna be a lie. You may see it clearly if you get to understand, that if you got a strong will and you are in control of yourself and you own the right morales, then even the anger won't lead you to aggression. E.G.: I won't slap a gay man across his face, just because I don't like homosexuality. But if that gay man goes to the media, and he's try to force me to believe that being gay is normal behaviour rise upon a certain life choice and it should be displayed everywhere in the media, then please.... According to my morales, homosexuality is a wrong thing which God has forbidden. Now days homosexuals try to compare their discrimination to racist problem, which is ridiculous! God created people of many colours, and I love that idea. It makes life more colourful. I am a white man, my wife is African brown. It's awesome. No matter what colour we are, if we are a couple of man and woman, we can have a children and rise them in love. So this is right. But can a couple of gays have a children? Naturally the answer is NO. So it has to be something wrong then with this setup, right?

Do some research, the God's Bible is a good resource, and you will find that not every violence comes out from aggression and not every disagreement comes out from being negative.

So please don't be stupid. Homosexuality is a sin.

You can call me homophobic, I don't care. I have a friend who is a gay man and my very best friend is lesbian. But they don't forcing me to believe that being gay is right for everyone, and it is normal that in a character creation I have make-up options for gentleman, and man and woman can share the same haircuts, because there are no gender differences. Let's embrace the love with everyone, no matter which gender she or he is. Once again, God has forbidden homosexual relations, because he knows that it's evil. If you didn't know yet, in this world it is possible to share evil love, which is in total opposite to true God's love. There is only one source which this could came from. And yes, this is the chef commander who will do everything opposite to the God's will.
And also, I am not screaming or yelling here, I'm using my right of freedom to give my opinion. BUt, as you can see, the bioware moderator want to take out this right from me.  Because now days people who disagree with global order can't speak. Moving against homosexuality is taboo now. Government protects homosexuals, but “normal” people which don't want homosexuality to be a part of public norms, are now a possible danger. And they forced many people to believe that... I bet that in the very next couple of yeras the vatican will finally give it's blessing to all of homosexual couples... and if moderator will again delete some of my post content, then it will be very obvious that I'm telling the truth. If I did abuse here, then tell me please at which point.

I never want to get off this rollercoaster!

But seriously, I can only respond with the following whenever this thread comes up (the one that goes "but but but...history!":

Dragons, magic, elves, the Fade, Dwarves, Darkspawn, magic, dragons, magic, dragons, magic, dragons

God forbid we taint this historically accurate recreation of European history with gays!

I thought Christians hated violent video games involving demons or sex(In this case both)?I guess there is a first for everything.Do you even know who the illuminati were.I am all for freedom of whatever faith/god you want but don't take a old name & morph into something it is not.
Back on topic, you hate armor & weapon style why again? I don't understand what you are trying to say.I think they nailed the styles perfectly so they don't need to change it.
