I actually would really like to explore more of Val Royeaux, and to definitely add more shops because it almost feels like the shopping area is useless. especially the upper levels. I feel like Val Royeaux is extravagant but not as much as it could be.

also I would like to take the time to say. I would really like them to add variety to the Minstrel model, it is the same girl in each place. they can at least change the hair color to them so they can look at least like different people. Bioware "nurse joy'd/Officer Jenny'd" her.

I agree I think its great there are lots of locations but its mostly exploring the large masses of land it would be nice to explore a city with lots of intertwining streets, in an area the size of Kirkwall, where you could buy stuff from the shopping district, visit the alieninge and the slums and dark and dangerous areas like in Denerim to fight thugs but also enter buildings like the guards barracks, houses. And a brothel.

Also more character cutscenes and conversation outside the Skyhold with companions in the style of mass effects Citidal dlc would really help as their was still so much i wanted to learn about the all companions but also get to know them on a social level, it would be nice to have a date in Orlais with a chosen love interest or got to a bar with companions or find companions doing their own thing and talking to them via cut scene to learn more about the e.g Cassandra praying in a chantry and learning more about her history or an event in her past like talking to Alistair in DA origins and finding out he slept with the dogs.

Yeah I agree they really had the opportunity to make Val Royeaux the "Citadel" of Dragon Age. I mean I do not have too much of a problem with "zones" because I do not mind the very quick load time in between... kinda like what they did in DA2... I do not need Dragon Age to have cities that are completely sandbox, all I want is for it to be open to explore. If they do it like that I am sure that they can then add more cities other than Val Royeaux; Denerim, Kirkwall, Amaranthine; in fact they could have allowed us to explore a little bit of each country other than just Ferelden and Orlais. They could have shown off their ability to make each culture and to actually show us these cultures instead of hearing about them from another character. However I like the direction they were heading in and I hope they spruce it up with patches and DLC to add these elements.... and also, is this the first official dragon age title not to have some sort of brothel?. I miss those, companions would say the funniest things about them haha.

and yes I agree with more cut scenes and Dialogue. I really feel like they could do more and they were too focused on the open world aspect of it... do not get me wrong because I like the open world. but It would be nice to actually get more of what to me makes bioware's games so special. the actual Immersion in the story and play style. the are so good at putting you in the shoes of the character and actually creating bonds and feelings for other characters as well as the worlds and the history. They need to add more of the Bioware spice to this game.

I really hope they put alot more effort into the next Mass Effect. but I digress because this is a Dragon Age Inquisition thread haha.

I hope they add schematics into the black emporium, starting with 20 tier 1 schematics and 5 teir 2 schematics for sale at a high price then increase the number depending on player progress like the did in dragon age 2. Farming for schematics has become the bane of my existence, it is such a pain having to spend so much time farming for them I would rather spend 2000 gold on a tier 1 schematic then 30 minutes farming for one. It actually feels more meaningful that way because then I'm working up to buying it rather than playing a game of Russian roulette and mentally blowing my brains out checking chest.

Oh.... yeah that would be nice...

Yes I do think that it would be a nice addition, or at least have the schematic merchant keeping up stock instead of them never getting new items. they should level with you.

More hairstyles especially for the qunari

I still think they need to make some actual helmets for the Qunari, It is one of the only things keeping me from truly enjoying the Qunari experiance. Or atleast do as I said before and make some craftable vitaar that can act as a helmet because the current vitaar is pathetic... but I also completely agree and I do think they need more hairstyles because even though there were cool hair styles, there could have easily been more... but I will give them props for there first Playable Qunari. This is the first time I have seen true diversity amongst the Qunari models.

Ok something that kind of annoys me is the "crafting material" codex list... the only thing in there is the plants. I get that the can make more lore to plants but they could atleast add entries about the other materials... what is Highever weave? there is just not much talking about the things that they made up... I get not talking about iron, but Volcanic Aurum, nevarrite, stormheart. They could expand a little more on these things.

I have limited needs.

for patch/smaller DLCs:

- Very different looking armour to craft. I hate the fact that something like 80% of the schematics I find are just a more powered up version of the same three or four armours with very, very minor viariations. (like a scarf or the jammeis visible under the coat. Is lame and boring), but when I put them on the companios, I can have a very different armour. WHY IS THIS X THING BORING ONLY ON THE INQUISITOR?!?! (sorry for the rant. After four characters, is annoyng)

- A toggle to wear our armour in Skyhold. Or having the chance to change the orrendous bland PJs with any NPC around. Servants and anyone around the world have better clothes than the Inquisitor.

- New hairstyles. Possibly, without balding hairline for female characters. That scream "male hairstyles slapped on female character to not have to make more hairstyles" like miles away.

- Decent hairstyles indipendant from the horns for Qunari.

That is what I'd like to see in patch and minor DLCs.

Yes I agree with you, especially about the Armor thing. I mean I like that you can altar it with the upgrades but I just wish there were more choices not only of armor types. but armor customization... Like long coat, short coat, plate mail, chain mail.... simple stuff that they could do.

and yeah I thought that the whole horns and hair on the same slider was silly and they should keep that separate.

Some instructions on how to use the war table.

An explanation of what those icons on the maps actually mean.

Change "burial ground" to "graveyard".

Instructions on how to use the character creator.

Instructions on how to leave Haven.

If I wanted to go to school or work, I would. I dont wanna think, I just wanna play.

Yes, If you get on the walls near the bridge and look out to the background you can see a "village" ... honestly it is a lot of tents, but that is still part of the inquisition and i feel like i only got to experience a small fraction of a fraction of the power the inquisition gained along the way. actually if you look out at the "village" the even put little people moving around.. they are very small and there are only a couple of them that move every once in a while to make it seem like there is life down there haha

Yes I was thinking about that yesterday when I was playing it, I Play as a mage and I looked at the crafting materials list for tier 4 metals, before the DLC it was just dragon bone which was fire. which means they neglected cold and storm. then after the DLC they added 2 new metals.. 1 is Ice dragon bone which obviously is cold damage and it is tier 4. but I actually got angry when the next tier 4 metal was Veil Quartz..... another fire damage material.... so for a mage the tier 4 materials are fire, cold, and fire..... just no storm what so ever... I also happen to not like the lack of Spirit element... which I really hope they will eventually add... now I bet you have different reasons of wanting more crafting materials but that was just 1 reason why I want it.

Going along with the Schematics idea, I really think they should make it so that the different weapons are equal to eachother, for example greatswords, greataxes, Mauls, i think that it is not really smart that they made it so that they are actually different because people like different looks. because there is no way that a maul as big as they make them in Dragon age is weaker than a greatsword.

If they were going to do another JoH-style DLC, I'd favor dwarven thaig. We've explored plenty of human zones (city, village, various kinds of wilderness) and two different kinds of elven zones, but the game kinda ignores dwarves. Well, it ignores qunari, too, but qunari don't really have any settlements in Ferelden or Orlais. Dwarves do.

Agreed, even the elven areas was not in depth... I am disappointed with how much they understated the other races especially the qunari because this is the first time you are actually playing as one... Atleast in the JoH they expanded upon the Avvar... they are pretty cool and different from the other humans... but definitely needs more focus on the other races.

I deeply enjoyed this game, it ended up being exactly the type of dragon age game I was hoping for. Really the only complaint I have is about the hair styles as I play on a console and will never be able to mod them. I'm hoping this could be remedied with a vanity pack style dlc, I certainly know I would pay for it. Especially if they did bundles of hair from dragon age 1 and 2 as I am partial to a lot of the styles each game had. It would also be interesting to see more race specific hair to give them each more of a cultural identity. Would be a  cool idea for outfits to wear around your base as well.

As for totally new things it would be interesting to maybe undertake small political missions and visit cities of countries we've never seen before. It would give us more of a first hand look at the different cultures and whet our appetites for future dragon age games having settings in or around these areas.

Would also love a dwarven love interest of either gender D:

And lastly on a minor note,  I do miss the more fine tuned tactic screens. Specifically the ability to assign each character a 'role' like healer or damager.

For a patch

- Vitaar and qunaris armors schematics

- For the qunaris allow us to choose horns and hairs separately and add more hairs styles

- Allow us to wear our armor in skyhold, the PJs is ugly and ridiculous

- Add the tint table at Haven

- Add a merchant in Skyhold who sells all materials and plants

- Just one thing for the Keep : allow us to delete some of our characters because  I have 45 characters due too this bad CC

For a DLC

I wanna see a real city, I wanna see all the streets of Val Royeaux and the Cathedral in a story.

Something simple like Halamshiral : someone tried to kill the new divine, our inquisitor seeks for clues in Val royeaux and fight some vilains ^^.

I just want a DLC with a good story, in a new place not a new area with fade rifts, boring quests and all this stuff. Something like Legacy for example.
