So i already collected all the ingredients and made one puzzle box, but this quest still remains in the journal. So is this one of those infinite loop quests that are unfinishable?

My guess is that you got another puzzle box requisition from the req officer.

You can get it more than once, that or its bugged. Complete it again but don't talk to the Hinterlands Requisition Officer afterwards
