I'm currently using the 660ti OC 2GB ram, is a good card.

But im wondering this: ¿Using the Nvidia 970 4GB will it takes less time to loading the game?, my 660ti takes arround 1-2 minutes to loading maps and in-game rooms with people and objects.

So i wanna know if the 970 4gb series improves my experience by load the game faster.

I hope this community can help me, thank you very much =)

I just got my replacement 970 unit, but I doubt you'll see loading time changes, look to the CPU memory system to help with that.  Running it on SSd makes a difference, but I usually keep active games on SSD and low quality games on the inertial drives.  That opinion is subject to change when they fix DAI.

A more powerful GPU will let you play at higher settings and with better FPS, but I don't think it will change load times much at all. Your CPU, RAM, and storage media is going to matter more than GPU when it comes to load times. If you want faster load times, an SSD would be a good (and cheap) place to get a performance gain for minimal cost. If that doesn't help, it might come down to a CPU issue. I have a 4790k and a GTX980 and my load times off a 7200rpm HDD are 10-15 seconds on average.

This. I'm running my games on Intel Original SSD (SSDSC2BW120A401) and loading times are like a few seconds for most games. Even for the heavy ones like Inquisition.

UPD: <10 sec with i3 CPU :)

What CPU do you have? Are you running the game off a HDD or SSD?

It's clearly HDD, as it can't be that long on SSD.

I have a 970. Loading times were 20-30 secs on a HDD. Using a SSD reduced it beyond reason (5-10 secs). How much RAM do you have? Maybe Windows is using the swapfile if you're low on it.

Most likely so. It would be useful to know the system specs so we can make sense of the info he's giving us. Even an HDD shouldn't take 3-4 mins (I run off an HDD and my load times are short), so there is most likely another limiting factor at work in addition to the storage media; it's either CPU, RAM, or GPU creating a bottleneck. I reckon people are getting huge load times because they are trying to run a very demanding game on toasters.

Guess my recent system is a toaster, too. Just had to switch from AMD products to Intel, so now I have i3 3240 CPU, 8 Gb RAM (DDRIII) and a GTS250 videocard. And my SSD I've mentioned earlier.

Gotta say most modern games run just fine. Only the ones that are focused solely on DX11+ (like Shadows of Mordor) won't run.

I was referring more to the people trying to run it on Dual Cores and QQing when it doesn't work because they are below minimum spec.

Mind you, I'm a bit stunned that DAI even runs on a GTS 250. I don't even want to think what settings it must run at...

I just switched to this graphics card a few days ago, and i haven't loaded the game since then.. im going to have to see this. I already remember the load times with my previous 660 ti so i hope i have a better go at this.
