The deluxe edition upgrade said it came with multiplayer chests but I got none.

Well I've never gotten the multiplayer aspect to work and in single mode which is very hard, there are still only three.

The selling point for me on the Deluxe Edition upgrade was more MP chests but I guess they were a lie. the single player stuff is not that great but my MP character really needed help.

I haven't either I figured it was because of my satelite internet. I will know tomarrow when I hook up DLC.

The MP expansion seems to literally do nothing.

The Destruction DLC comes with destruction routes of the original three maps. They're selected at random when you play those maps. The free chests should be in the store, you have to click the tab to go over to the "free" section.

Ok that solves the MP DLC but the free mp chests from the deluxe edition never came.

I been trying my best solo although its pretty hard I'm still able to level up. My dwarf is level 3. I never realized how useful that skill where you generate guard by blocking is. Fun but hard.

I read that you need a seprate code for the multiplayer chests from the deluxe edition. Where do I find this code?

It should be in the case it's strange you weren't able to get the chests as I got one of each when it first came out hm hope this helped.

I bought the digital upgrade to the deluxe edition. It has no case or codes.

They can be found in the same box after you've done both Here Lies The Abyss and Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts.

MP loot is really hard to come by solo. I'm hoping my dsl tomarrow will make it so I can join MP games. I really could have used those mp items from the deluxe edition. I'll have to call sony in the morning and get a refund.

Eh, the chests mostly contain junk you'll end up salvaging anyway. Unless things changed greatly since release, the MP chests aren't worth the effort.

In retrospect, I found the deluxe upgrade not worth the ten bucks.

Not worth it at all, I even spent 20$ on large chest and got garbage
20$ is a lot of money to be spending on a games MP, at least when I put like 500$ total towards MEMP I felt like I got bada** weapons and characters and as a fan I felt I was helping the cause of getting another ME game(witch we are yay I just hope it's not like DAI)

IMO if you can't get at least 1 bada** weapon or even a character with 20$ worth of large chests than its not even close to being worth it, biggest ripoff from BW(up there with deluxe edition and JoH DLC)

All the more reason to get my MP chests. I'll give BioWare another hour just incase they want to do the right thing and respond.

They won't respond to this on the forum. The multiplayer chest code was in the steelbook if you bought the physical, I don't know where it would be if you got a digital upgrade. You'll probably have to contact EA directly, but their customer service is pretty good.

 

The Dragon schematics are gated by story progression, though I don't know when they trigger. Possibly before the Temple of Mythal, just keep checking as you do story quests and you'll get them.

I was going to paste a link to the EA Answers page because I got my deluxe MP chest no problem, just can't remember how.

But multiple threads on this subject appear to have remained unanswered on EA Answers for months in some cases.

 

So whilst I detest the unpleasant way that the OP goes about framing their question,

I have to credit that in respect of getting an answer to a fairly straight forward question, they do have a point...

I filled out some forms and they said they would call me in 5 mins. Its been more then 10.

EA never called but sony was happy to submit a refund request which I should get in 3-5 days. Atleast they care about their customers.
