It's like you're not getting any DLC form Bioware ever.
Oh, wait.

Don't get me started on aggressive business practices and monopolies, but even this evil does not compare to ww2. That DLC point is important, the Inquisition DLC was supposed to be platform independent. If marketing made a deal that is contrary to their goal -RH not talking to the left again.

A. Why did you mention World War 2?
B. Bioware has been public about the timed exclusivity deal since before the game was even released. Your fault if you never picked up on it.
C. I'm not entirely convinced you know what the idioms you're using actually mean.

Preeeeeetty sure that Microsoft is worse than the Nazis now
They are evil of cource, just not in comparable level ^^
For OP, you just have to wait sometime. I don't find timed exclusive deals being so big deal, they are annoying though, but what's little wait, you can play other games during it ![]()

OP, you seem to be under the misconception that these corporations give a damn about the consumer, they don't.
Only way these practices are going to end is for people to not buy products under the timed exclusivity banner, which they know won't happen. They have an army of marketeers whose job it is to see that it doesn't.
Of course Sony or MS commissioning a software company to create a product solely for their console of course is a different thing altogether, nothing wrong with that.

Ok..well lets see.. World War II - very bad, millions died. Bioware making a business deal with Microsoft that really in the long run doesn't actually hurt anybody... yup, your right, doesn't even compare. So, you've got a couple of options here, you can just be patient and wait for the expansion to come out for the PlayStation, or if your a really big fan you can get the PC version as well.
I seriously doubt that Bioware is going to violate a legal contract with Microsoft just because you got a little bent out of shape over the deal. Probably not the best business decision from their perspective. So, really not much point in getting all up in arms here, it won't change the reality of the situation. If you really want to express your displeasure to Bioware, or Microsoft, etc - well feel free. That's what email is for. ![]()

If this is going to turn into an anti-vaxxer thread, I'm setting it on fire.
(For anyone who doesn't know: what Bill Gates advocates is encouraging people to voluntarily limit their family size by ensuring that the children they do have will live to adulthood. Vaccines help a lot with that.)

Yeah, I don't think I've ever seen an auto-Godwin in the first post before.
The OP is a trailblazer.
On topic, exclusivity deals are fairly common these days, so DAI DLC being so is hardly surprising, especially since (as has been pointed out) this was known well before DAI was released.

Selling out to Microsoft and all their dirty dealings because they re doing so poorly so they have to stoop to such gstapo tactics. But Biowae did not have stoop as low as Microsoft, who are buying up so many games in order to try pushing their XBOX that sunk because of their greed and people answered back resoundingly. Hell, no we won't take it. Bioware is following suit that might back fire when such tactics alienates avid fans such as myself. What were you thinking The money up front make cost you more in the long run. Are all your DLC going to be held back from PS4 as well because anyone can only be pushed so far..as Microsoft found out with XBOX ONE did not sell. Think of your fans before you make such unethical deals with MIcrosoft. Make a choice.
Didn't Sony "make a choice" and deny their customers this deal? If I remember correctly, they had a chance and decided not to do it. Not sure how that makes Xbox the Big Bad Evil because they didn't.
I am not saying I approve of this business practice and while I understand the motives and business sense behind it, I think it's a middle-finger to fans. However, don't blame Microsoft for Sony customers having to wait for the DLC-- blame Sony for making that decision for you.

Yeah, but on the other hand, there was no one to make a choice for or against it for the PC platform since there is no one who could have made it. Us PC gamers got the DLC anyway. Not saying that Sony is blameless, just that it was apparently possible to get the DLC without any kind of special deal.

Look on the bright side, you can use the $15 with an extra $45 to get Bloodborne!
