Just started a new playthrough with the idea of becoming a KE and have it be my canon Inquisitor.

I just met my party for the first time and I already have 3 wisp essences. Bless the Maker! Truly I'm the Herald of Andraste!

that's happened to me before too.  But I've also had it happen when I wasn't even a mage or I get an essence containment apparatus for the tempest during the prologue when I'm not a rogue.

Lol its so funny that you say that because I remembered that happening during my first prologue playthrough during the EA Access event a few days before release - had 1 wisp essence in my inv right after I got my first weapon
