Yep, this could mainly happen... randomly, as the coop between enemies units is quite limited.
Smoke bomb plus turret deployment would be awesome.

Our swarms and plagues would disable Prime turrets and drones, hunter cloaks and Phantom bubbles and palm blasters. Our Scions would beat all Cerberus troops to death with their own spine. Praetorians will sish kebab whatever gets close and buttlaser the rest. Suicide bombers would clean out all enemy minions. Our posessed captains will lead our army to overwhelm you with burstfire and webs. I will direct this personally!
Cat6, srsly.
Collectors on one side and Geth/Reapers/Cerberus on the other to make things even. 1v1 Collectors will win.
Collectors. Scions and Praetorians just have too high a health pool for the other enemies and they do a fuckton of damage with their attacks. Scion's blast would annihilate most enemy units in one shot. Praetorians are actually fast moving enemies as well and their eye beams would cut an Atlas in half. Let's not even mention that the Collector Captains could probably decimate most Cerberus infantry with their burst fire. Collectors do more damage and have higher health pools than all other factions.
^^This, exactly. It's not even close. One Praetorian blast could take out an entire mook squad. No other faction could even remotely compete with that.
Collectors.
Cerberus vs Collectors - Possessed Scions essentially blanket bombing everything with grenades. There would be some casualties on the Collectors part thanks to the Cerberus turrets... But that is all.
Geth vs Collectors - Huge battle between seeker swarms and geth bombers. But seeker swarms would kind of be able to neutralise Geth Prime pulses which means they couldn't really do anything else against the Praetorians. The most amount of damage the Geth could do would be with the Pyros, but Abominations.
Reapers vs Collectors - I can just imagine a huge war between Husks and Abominations (the Abominations, of course, winning - they're just Husks, but they can explode, so advantages)... Then Collector Captains are stronger than Marauders, and just the normal troopers are stronger than Cannibals. Praetorians are stronger than Banshees, and Possessed Scions could deal with everything else with grenades. ![]()
But Reapers and Collectors would never fight. Harbinger possesses the Collectors.
Geth and Collectors... I can possibly imagine fighting once you release the Geth from Reaper control. But oh well. ![]()
Personally, I think it'd go:
Collectors - win.
Geth - second.
Reapers - third.
Cerberus - lose.
Prime would indefinitely spawn drone and turrets on stupid Scion to make him turn. And then go on blow his shoulder humps.I am betting on the Primes.
IIRC back when I played "sabotage all the things" mod and just let enemy units slug it out, crabs dominated the others so hard it wasn't even funny.
Collectors are one of the only factions that have high damage wide AOE powers. The Enraged Crab and Possessed Scion are capable of wiping out entire groups of infantry from the other factions, no other boss type enemy comes close to the damage those can bring to the game. Cerberus turrets could be problematic but I just don't see those getting setup fast enough nor often enough to neutralize the advantage of the Scion and Crab combo.

Can you record a video? I'm interested ![]()

Them memories...
I still remember the game on reactor where a single praetorian took on two primes and won.... ![]()

Lol I would like to see some videos. A couple of Captain versus a Phantom. Abomb versus phantom, lol. Praetorian versus multiple small infantry, Geth Hunter versus Scion (who wouldn't want to see a cannon shoved up those synthetic SOB's asses?).
Husk versus Abomb? What do they do just hump each other to death?
Prime would indefinitely spawn drone and turrets on stupid Scion to make him turn. And then go on blow his shoulder humps.
Primes are evil.
Prime would waste time by spawning drones and turrets while the Scion blasts it to bits. And since no AI goes for headshots, the Scion's hump will remain intact the entire time.
Can you record a video? I'm interested
Me too.
Wasn't on my host and I don't have the mod installed but I believe Mgamerz included it in his mod manager and made it public so you can try it out for yourselves. ![]()

True that. Although if I remember right I was rooting for the primes. ![]()

They're deer in headlights. Kinda just stand there and stare at each other.
Just spectating the enemy factions fighting each other is something I've wanted to be able to do since ME3MP first came out.
Faction one-on-ones would be cool, but a battle royale between three of them or all four of them would be epic.
Can you imagine watching a Banshee, a Prime and an Atlas all duking it out. Or Scions, Ravagers and Primes cannon-sniping each other from across the map? Or a melee between a Geth Pyro, a Dragoon and a Brute?
It would be especially fun to watch all the sync-kill units perform their syncs on other enemies. Like a Phantom impaling a Collector Captain, or an Atlas grabbing a Geth Rocket Trooper, or the piece de resistance; a Banshee grabbing a Phantom.
I know it would take the playing aspect completely out of the equation, but I'd love to have a spectator mode like this.
People underestimate turrets and engineers. The AI will not target any of them as priority targets (as humans do). Also, engineers can heal Atlases with surprising speed. On the other hand one phantom can keep the entire collector faction busy with all those flip-flop moves.
Lore wise, it's Reapers. They technically control all other three.
As for game wise, it really depends on rules. Is it about overall strength or wave vs wave on gold for example and most importantly, how the AI works.
In any case, if we go with current AI and strength, then Collectors will win, no question of that. But if we players could control the factions, then things would become lot more interesting and Collectors wouldn't win so easily.
But they don`t do that with the AI they have now. If on the other hand you are talking a bit more hypothetically, in a scenario where cerberus would work together as the highley trained military unit they are suppose to be. Then yes, they would win. Smoke cover for phantoms, fotsoldiers actually supporting the atlas etc. They would be hard to beat.
That was exactly my thinking, when I made my earlier comment. Cerberus have the potential, when played to maximise cheese, to really put the hurt on any other faction. The tactical diversity gives them a lot of options, which a skilled person could really use to great effect. Turrets to negate free and easy movement, Nemesis' working to strip barriers and shields before Phantom or Atlas attacks....it would be pretty glorious.
Of course, the big variable would be how sync-kills work. That could change things a lot.
I was wondering. Since PC has mods to where you can essentially sabotage anything, could someone make a video of Sabotaged Praetorian fighting an Atlas or Prime and so on?
I don't have video but Mgamerz hosted a game like that for a couple of us. It was hilarious. I think Kobean was also there but I'm not sure.
Yes, mgamerz did that and I played that mod. Collectors were easily the best enemies to sabotage.
His mod increased the damage done by sabotaged enemies by 100% but even then, a sabotaged praetorian is better than a sabotaged atlas, a sabotaged scion better than a prime and so on.
For example, when I was testing these, a poss. praetorian took down an atlas while still having most of its armor in a 1v1 battle.
However, an atlas couldn't do it. The first time I sabotaged the atlas, it lost to the possessed crab. The second time, atlas won but it was down to a few bars of armor.
Prime doesn't stand a chance against praetorian at close range because the latter can keep the prime stagger locked for long periods of time.
If that 100% damage boost weren't there, collectors would have still won but would take longer. But they'd still win.
I agree, Didn`t Mgamerz say the same as TNS after these sabotage all the things mod games, that a possesed crab was by far the best unit to sobtage and would crush most other units, even more so backed by a possesed scion?
Would be interesting to go faction vs faction in a command and conquer style game.

My Saboteur has played several matches in Mgamerz' zombie+hackall mod, and I can confirm that possessed praetorians are by far the best enemies to hack, and can easily destroy any other 'boss' unit in the game. An atlas will take a while to go down, but the crab will still win, possessed or not. Every time I hack one of them the killfeed fills with "Turiathar [Praetorian] enemy" and my score goes through the roof.
FYI:
husk vs. guardian = husk. It just climbs over his shield and throttles him.
3 dragoons vs. prime = draw. The 'goons kill the prime, but its death blossom finishes off the 'goons.

Man I have this weird sense of deja vu like we had this exact same conversation last year.
But I am too lazy to search for what I remember, so whatever.
I vote Collectors, assuming Praetorians cannot be synch killed. Their OP wallhax lazors would defeat every other faction.
Just like the "Is this game still active" threads that crop up numerous times, this has been asked to death. It also won't be the last.
Me too.
Here thats why TIM was right ![]()
