2 phantoms vs 2 phantoms would be interesting................

They would just camp at the landing zone.

I have to go with Collectors here, it's true Primes are a pain in the *** but that's for us.

Even if primes destroyed a lot of Collector mooks, once they had to deal with possessed scions and preatorians... they can't stun these guys

and you're a fool if you think they can end them before crab and juice box do...

Then you have collector captains regular or possessed, the possessed troopers, abombs, and even swarms are a huge asset.

I think geths would beat cerberus, mostly thanks to the primes.

Reapers vs Cerberus would be interesting, banshees would wreak havock on the mooks, phantoms would fight back, but you'd need ravagers to

help with atlases, I don't see a banshee taking an atlas down.

Same for Geths vs Reapers, that would be a tough one, I'm inclined to give a slight advantage to Geths again because of the Primes.

I think all the faction would be pretty even facing eachother, except for Collectors, Collectors own them all.

I would also say Collectors with the following caveats.

If more that 2 Cerberus engineer turrets get set up in key spots, then that would be a Cerby victory.

If it was wave 2 Platinum Geth composition, then they may compete with Collectors

is this plat wave vs plat wave? Cos you know collectors w2 have 2 crabs and 3 scions. The geth would get rekt

my dream is still to have a mod that allows us to edit maps and just spawn waves of enemy factions against each other and watch the chaos unfold.

Hm, let's see ...

Cerberus vs Collectors

Atlas vs Pretorians: Atlas would lose but it is grind fest, a slow battle and this is exactly what Cerberus wants. They would pin down the most dangerous collector unit with minimal cost (i.e. that is the very role of atlas: it is huge bullet sponge).

Scions vs Phantoms: again I would expect collectors to win this matchup but it will take a long time. Scions will be busy meleeing elusive phantoms which means that they won't be using their handcannon or carpet bombs.

Dragoons vs husk: no match, dragoons win easily.

Dragoons vs abombs: well, even if abombs win technically, it is a draw.

That leaves the remaining cerberus units vs the remaining collector ones: trooper, centurion, engineer + nemesis vs. trooper, captains, + bees.

Don't tell me that a turret farm supported by nemesis+centurions cannot mow down any number of collector troopers/captains/bees. It is not a contest.

So even if pretorians, scions win, they will have to face the same turret farm + nemesis/centurion (or even larger one, assuming that engies can plant more) without any support.

I would put my money on cerberus. While collectos have the most dangerous boss/subboss units, cerberus is more diversified. Collector's strenght is focused in those two type of units, pin them down, allow engies to set up the turrets, support them with smokescreens + snipers and Cerberus wins easily.

Don't forget to mention engineers can repair mechanized units at a very high rate.

Many things that annoy players are breezes at enemies.

Stagger? No.

High precision burst fire? Talk to the armor.

Sync-kill? Say hello to big ones.

In the end it would be a dps race. Collectors would own.

Collectors, duh!!!!111oneone

Stop refusing to recognize their supremacy. They'll struggle in vain, trusting in numbers to storm their advance. Like every faction before, they will resist, and now they will understand, a full extent of their superiority.

The outcome is inevitable.

They will succumb and get rekt.

Or they will be.. erm... rekt.

I recall a dev saying that Geth won out against Cerberus and Reapers; this was with little experiments they were doing themselves, pitting them against one another.

This was before Collectors were put in.

I'd still probably go with Geth.

Basic troopers are accurate and powerful and wipe the floor with other basic units

Hunters wreck Phantoms and similar

Pyros are good against bullet sponge enemies

These three basic enemies come in large numbers.

Mgamerz,

you said specifically that the collectors win. I assume that you have run that simulation a few times when you were editing things. Did you ever record what happens if you have all the factions face off?

I can't hack a whole faction vs another one (can't control spawn points well enough), but the Praetorian melee staggers just about every boss. And the scion cannon kills any mook in a single hit. Enemies do not move fast enough to dodge it's bullets so it's almost 100% accurate. Cerberus would be #2 as the Atlas is the biggest health enemy and would take a while to kill vs a Praetorian.

And how effective are Scion grenades against Cerberus turrets?

Due to the way pets work they completely ignore them. Turrets do almost nothing to armored units due to the damage reduction.
