The Elder Scrolls is a better series than the Mass Effect series.

I think both have merit. Elder scrolls for more openworld exploration, player freedom and... offcourse... the mods.
Me series is better at telling at telling stories, immerse you in the game and form attachment to npc's and lastly in the latest game... combat is better.

I love both. If TES had the same depth in their companions' dialogue and romance as Bioware put in theirs... yes.
But wait, your post isn't feedback or a suggestion.

No... just no. As long as that wench Delphanie and Maven Black Briar are unkillable npcs I rather deal with Kai Leng. He's a annoying trashy piece of story telling at least I get to kill him.
Kinda agree.
It's rare for a game to invoke such vehement emotion in me (I'm a softie normally, so Thane's Deathbed sequence got me right were i live ... sniff ... or my final goodbye to Garrus ... sniff) But I've never before wanted to tear out an enemies spine with my bare hands, then beat the remains until not even next of kin or a forensic pathologist could identify the body, but Kai Leng surprisingly got me there. Well done BW.
I dislike invincible enemy characters in games, to me it means the writers were too lazy to tell a proper story, if they were, then who lives and who dies wouldn't matter.
As a perhaps ground breaking and awesome piece of gaming and a wonderfully created "world" TES, and most notablly Skyrim are outstanding, with rich lore, and many great tales.
But IMHO as a gaming franchise and as a "story" ME and "Shepard's Tale" win hands down.

I'm coming at you bro, GET READY! ::Thinks of Mass Effect 3 and stops in his tracks:: Ah ****, you're right. Though if we just count ME1 and ME2, then I do not agree.

Heh. Reminds me of those Scooby Doo cartoons... when they capture the bad guy, and pull off the mask.

I'd compare Rockstar games to Bethesda, before I compared Bioware. I don't see the relation. Even when Bioware tries to make open worlds, it's not the same the emergent/sandbox variety.
