Funnily enough, eight times out of ten, the cashier/bartender still asks for my ID whenever I want to buy a beer, even though I'm four years over legal drinking age.

Let's see... there's a box of Twinings in the cabinet above the stove. I take my coffee black, with a pinch of salt. I do the bulk of my clothes and grocery shopping online, because nothing at the stupid mall fits me, and because I'm a cooking geek. Sometimes you just can't get the "good stuff + good price" combo at the supermarkets.

 

My driveway is home to an ancient (though well cared-for, because damn if that car doesn't deserve it) ES300. Seriously, the 2000 model is just so solid. I'm gonna love that car until it develops consciousness and goes to Europe to find itself.

 

I still bounce when I fall off a horse, so technically that counts as "young," but don't tell that to my back.

I don't have anything to add.  I just wanted to say that I loved Spice & Wolf.  Holo may just be my favorite female character of all time

 

I was lucky to find it on Netflix when I did. Spice and Wolf felt so refreshingly different from what I had come to expect out of anime.

I know some girls who are in their 30s and still get asked for ID all the time because they are so tiny and cute. I laughed myself silly when one of them opened the door and was asked if her parents were at home...
