Don't get me wrong, I wasn't excluding myself from that- in fact, I was mostly surprised to see how far I was from being the only old fogie (I'm 30), as well as how many older fogies there are here... But ya'll are still old fogies nonetheless.

No, you are right, it would mean the same in English. I was making a joke about everything being normally distributed which would therefore mean every distribution is always symmetrical and mean = median = mode, but it was for Limbs' sake primarily, and since she believes me to be a total ****** it went Whoosh! past her. C'est la vie.
