fortunately, it works almost equally well with those millions of Targeting VI's I've laying around.
Good point.

Hax!
Self-exploding Paladin (no ED): I used him a lot but not as much anymore
Shadow Full Melee (no ES): not very satisfying with fast-killing team mates
Electra full shock HE (no fitness): since I started MP I've played the Vanilla Engies, lately went and used super-light weapons again for maxplosions
AJA (no pull): for bleeding off warp ammo and adrenaline stims
B52 Asari Vanguard (no stasis): for the bombing runs
Kroguard constant keypress build: Fun to play, but all the keypressing keeps me quite on my toes - uses Graal mostly
Krolord Hammer Berserker: always on the look for ramps, I like timing my hammerings against Phantoms (off ramp action)
Gimmick Devastator Soldier: Respec candidate if I want RoF fun with e.g. Falcon or Ammo Mag for Executioner double shots
Human Adept Full Melee build: I don't use it much in later waves but what good is the passive tree if you just detonate stuff anyway?
Juggernaut detonator (no turret but squad command, lol): Fire based explosions coupled with Lancer rapid fire, uses adrenaline mostly (don't ask how)
Asari Vanguard: Maxed for speed, Hurricane, get in their face and blow'em up, lots of close quarter dodging against bosses
Huntress pistol Operative: A true infiltrator style, Shadow is ninja - huntress is operative
Batarian Adept: Prime'em and clusternade them, mooks get lashed - I try to go for interesting trajectories
Spitfire Geth Trooper: Lots of piercing and wallhack to keep the gun going and going and going.
MQI Incendiary Indra: never changed the build since I survived my first plat with this guy, like to do the support scans on bosses on plat
Gimmick FQI: either shotgun melee or sticky bomb fun
Shadow Full Melee (no ES): not very satisfying with fast-killing team mates

The only way to play Shadow, IMO.

Not just in your opinion alone. Triple head collections!
I would never toss Spitfire on AIU... or any other unit that is not Krogan, Batarian, Destroyer, Jug or Volus. Because I need to be able to move while firing the Spitfire (especially with it needing to always ramp up first). So yes, the Destroyer moves faster then the other kits not listed while holding the trigger on the Spitfire. It's a weird weapon mechanic exclusive to the Spitfire, Revenant, & Striker (and I think it's just these 3 weapons?).
Forgot to add one weapon and character combo that I have never ever seen anyone else use on gold, but I do it a lot.
Salarian infiltrator with Incisor SR.
And I have to say, that weapon way too underrated as it's actually really great. When you use with incendiary ammo and stability consumables, it's truly effective killing machine. You can do plenty of TE's with Incendiary ammo and ED/Proxy, huge clip makes it possible to kill multiple troops in short time and dmg is still high enough to kill heavier units easily.

I've tried SI with Indra and Valiant recently, it was underwhelming. Can't imagine Incisor being better.
More importantly: does the Tac Cloak damage boost affect all the shots of the burst?

It's funny you should say that. Yesterday I was pugging Gold on PC and there was an SI with an Incisor. I gave him a sidelong glance at first but he rocked it for the whole game.
...So, are you secretly slumming it on PC, or do you have a fanboi? ![]()

Come on Lucky, quit trolling us now. SI with Valiant is nearly as powerful as BW SI.
PPR KroLord is one I use a lot that I don't see often

Not a fan of BW either. IMO single-shot snipers are best for infiltrators, because then you're always shooting with the TC damage bonus.

TC damage bonus extends to all attacks up to 2.5 seconds after you break cloak.

If you break it as soon as you put it on. Otherwise at least 1.5 secs.
Thanks, thought it's 1 s.

My bad. I blame that oversight on the shock of hearing the SI Valiant was a bad class.

I always thought it was 2.5 on the damage boost, 1 sec to break then additional 1.5 secs for added damage regardless unless you allowed the cloak to break on it's on. Did you ever get clarification that it was only for immediate decloaking?

Don't put the words into my mouth, I didn't say bad. I just didn't like it - neither Valiant nor Indra. I tried them in 2 successive games and they've left equal impression of pulling my weight, but not being able to do any serious work. Maybe I need Valiant X instead of I. But as it is, I prefer Mantis (I like Mantis SI, don't judge). Or Widow, ofc.

Mantis and Widow are both perfectly fine SRs especially on the SI or FQI. If you get a rhythm with the Widow you should retry the Claymore they have the same flow on reload cancel.

Bad, underwhelming, whatever. Untwist your panties - I just did an overnight shift and I don't particular care for whatever nuanced difference you think your wording makes to mine.

Then don't post until you're able to comprehend written text.

The Valiant's rate of fire means that all three shots in the clip can benefit from the cloak bonus. With the BW it's the first two.
