It's his character, it's how the character was designed with dialogue lines reflecting this, particularly from other female characters who clearly note Jensen's male gender.
Make a female character and you'll need to change dialogue from other characters unless you just what some crappy re-skin just to appease people who want to play as a female who gains all the same lines as the opposite sex, has the same animations and same story. It might work for a developer like Bioware but I think Edios would want to be a little more realistic.
Adam Jensen was designed and envisioned as a male. Just deal with it.
Dude, for the fifth time, what you said was that changing the gender would have to mean changing the relationship with Megan. It doesn't. Just let it go. I don't know what you think you're arguing with, but it certainly isn't posts I've been making.
There's literally no content in DX:HR that requires Jensen to be a guy. Sure, there are masculine pronouns being used but it's straight up insane to say that's an actual story reason for Jensen to be a dude.
I'm going to try and spell this out as clearly as possible for you since you seem to be struggling with the concept:
1. I did not say DX:HR should have had a customizable protagonist.
2. I did not say that DX:MD should have a customizable protagonist.
3. I did not, in particular, say that Squenix should have about people who want customizable protagonists.
4. I did say that there's no actual reason that Megan's gender would have to change if Jensen's gender changed.
5. I did say there's nothing in the plot that requires Jensen to have a dick.
While we're at it, let's rewrite Geralt as a female because The Witcher series never actually requires him to use his willy for plot reasons now does it? Just rewrite him into a lesbian with love interests as lesbians.
Think about, in The Witcher 2's plot, can you honestly tell me that Geralt actually needed his c o c k for any part of the plot? It's not like his relationship with Triss is about having children so as female lesbians they can still have the same dynamics in their relationship.
Dude, you seriously need to chill out. "We wanted a dude character" is a perfectly legitimate reason to have a dude character. You're the only one that feels the need to say that the plot somehow requires **** as a justification for a set male protagonist.
Gender tends to be totally irrelevant to the plot. But it doesn't matter. People's choices for set protagonists are entirely justifiable without trying to hide behind the plot.
