Giving this a much needed bump in light of E3 and the fantastic demo that I think deserves much more attention than the petty "controversy" needlessly occupying people's time. 

 

 

Love the added non-lethal takedown options which is more in line with my approach (non-lethal unless I screw up and get a bunch of angry mooks on me). Also, the body armour that Jensen can generate for those more intense fire fights is so cool.

Human Revolution is one of my favourite games and I'm really hyped.

This game looks very impressive, even now. 

Graphics look really good now, and I like pretty much all new mechanics (and there seems to be quite a lot):

- 'Blink' ability

- stunning multiple enemies with this tesla wrist thing

- better movement (Adam can climb now it would seem)

- all that weapon customization

- the nanoblade

- slow motion focus mode

- new takedowns

- excellent dialogue system returns

 

That's how you make sequels! 

I'm hyped now.

She could have died in the first one.

It was actually quite hard to save her, especially in a non-lethal playthrough.

I was playing a non-lethal playthrough when she first died. I was soo bummed. When I found out you could save her on my next play, I went liam neeson on those BASTARDS!! Took like three tries but DAMN it felt good when she said thanks!

Felt so good to save her. It's like Adam just goes into beastmode and takes down all those incoming assholes with reckless abandon. I'm usually incredibly cautious and stealthy but it felt good to just throw that all away and be more aggressive and quick thinking. 

 

Hopefully the canon option is that she was saved and that she makes an appearance in this game.

I love sequels the most when I get wowed by how good it looks compared to the first game and then I realize the gameplay is exactly the same but with lots of new additions and no subtractions. This looks like everything I loved about DE:HR but with even more to it.

 

Take note Bioware. (except I guess people really wanted the Mako gone... and holstering, crouching, freedeom of exploration, neutral dialogue options, amount of player-input in dialogue etc. >)

Gah, that's what happened to me. I totally forgot about my none lethal playthrough and ended up murking the poor sods. It was worth it though, ain't no one taking down fly girl.

Playing through Human Revolution right now. Got it off PSN last week for about $5. I am really liking this game. It is getting me interested in this game now.

Enjoy, it's a solid game. Make sure to check them nooks and crannies for glorious loot.

One of my biggest complaints with HR. The social boss fights were awesome. The run of the mill convos... not so much.

 

Overall I'm liking what I see a lot. The combat seems actually fun, levels fairly open, the writing is on point, and as before the art direction is superb. Probably my most hyped game of E3.

Helluva good deal, considering Sarif Industries is now liquidating.
