Love her, too! Really a lot of fun... and the banter!
Get two Alchemists in the same lobby together... banter is even better. ![]()
Mattock use is great training for that.
Ugh.....I still remember the Raptor challenge, my fingers looked like Bethany's after that one.

OMG, my trigger finger!! *grateful for automatic weps*
Believe me if I could find a way to permanently mute alchemist, I would play her a lot more...
Do we have a plan? We don't need a plan!
I like this party!
I like potatoes, they grow underground.

You're not so bad!
Let me!

Y'all just jelly because Alchemist has the 'shroom hookup.

Okay, you can't come to my midsummer festival.
Most under-appreciated: Arcane Warrior. So many people hate AW because of reasons like "they don't resurrect teammates" or "they always rush ahead" without understanding that it is the optimal way to play the AW. I admit the class allows undergeared and/or newbie players to do well, but like any other class a few seconds of not paying attention can result in dying on perilous difficulty, and it has redeeming qualities I think most people don't appreciate. Primarily, the class takes relatively more thought and practice to play it to its full potential than most other classes, i.e. maximizing cooldown reduction, remembering layout and mob position and behavior to gather as much enemies into the PotA as possible, and timing fade step, fade cloak, and spirit blade for most damage. Also, I appreciate AW's that frequently utilize PotA to increase team damage and reduce damage taken by the team.
Most under-used: Obviously Alchemist. It's much easier to say what she has going for her than what she doesn't have going for her. Basically, she's got fire flask, and I can't think of any other redeeming qualities of hers. I bet she feels she should have just stayed trapped underground.
AW doesn't take much skill to play well if you are half way spec'd properly. A lot of the others take skill to carry or do well on Perilous as you know.
SOLO yes, PUGS not really.

Frost flask shatter build is legit, yo. I recommend people try it. Hide/FrostFlask/ShadowStrike/TwinFangs.
Pop flask, run into a group and shatter 1+ enemies with Twin Fang and Shadow Strike, then use your hide to circle to the back and back stab an enemy, keep doing this until you can shatter again. Shadow Strike often to reduce Frost Flask cooldown.
I'll usually get around 40-50 kills with a talented team, way more in a PuG, and all the while help people with crowd control and give them shatter opportunities (with admittedly a small window unless I stand there).
I agree that Arcane Warriors are under-liked by most other party members, but I dig an Arcane Warrior on my team. I prefer that they use PotA rather than the solo build.

Mainly because the PuG AW's that join my public games die (especially with the barrier capacity nerf). Of course my philosophy is to befriend anyone who is remotely cooperative and communicative, so they're no longer pugs afterward.

Similar. She has a few trick ponies, but nothing amazing. I'm probably not going to be on her solstice list.. until I rez her.

I agree that assassins are underrated. I think though that its such a frustrating class to play if you dont know how(myself included). But I've seen assassins tear it up but they have to work twice as hard to get the same result. I think that's the thing that motivates people most of the time. Maximizing reward for effort.
Assassin is my favorite class to play because you have to be so engaged and aware of what's going on. She does so well against isolated targets and can take down ranged enemies like nobody's business while putting a severe dent in anything else. All of that requires me to scope out the room and also really pay attention to what's happening to her (health level, enemies targeting her, ability cooldown), but it makes for an amazingly fun and dynamic play experience.
Plus the playstyle really fits with the character--sneaking around, shanking people from behind, and then popping back into the shadows. Very fun. ![]()
I kova having Lego with me but I can't play one myself. I can barely tank Threatening passably and it's not about my gear or build, it's purely the lack of skill.
Assassin and Alchemist on the other hand are my forte and I love playing those. I guess the playing styles are so different I can't make myself accommodate both inside my head. Rogue state of mind, y'know.

If that was the problem it was nothing, when game is over they say "I'm leaving you are not helping anything, you suck" Did you heard me xEternityOPx?
I don't under-appreciated the AW pug, is just that they become (xxCensoredxxx) because they play an OP class, and when is compared with Assassin, Alchemist and a Keeper in party they look like pros.
I've not seen many Templars that specs for Line in the Sand, so to me they are the least played class.
"WHY DID THAT TAKE SO LONG!?"
She merely says what every character is thinking as their clock is ticking down towards the fade.

So many people hate AW because of reasons like "they don't resurrect teammates" or "they always rush ahead" without understanding that it is the optimal way to play the AW. That is why they hate them. The optimal way to play them is to be totally non team. It works the best and is better for success but that doesn't make it fun.

Just fire flask?
Knock out powder, frost flask and shadow strike. Shes and exceptional crowd control dynamo.
