Remember when you could wear a tuxedo on the Normandy? Remember when your ship had all its upgrades? Remember when you could holster your weapons whenever? Remember how you had a larger team and fewer rules? Remember when you had the M-920 Cain and could blow up something to kingdom come?

I, Larry-three, remember.

Remember when your walking animation was pimp-ish? Like the guy from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Ha! No I am sounding like a major hater. BioWare I love you more than any other game developer. And I am thankful for all the work you people put into your games. As of April 7th, I am on my 7th play-through of the first three Mass Effect's. I am on the late-middle stages of Mass Effect 2. Anyway, I plan of getting the next Mass Effect. I have been a fan of BioWare sense Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1... I believe that was 2003 or 2004. Anyway, thank you BioWare for being... I do not know... you stand out in a good way in book.

I remember its challenging Insanity difficulty, few Avenger/Predator scenes, awesome new characters, mediocre story with railroading and space magic, great Suicide Mission, binary dialogue choices, Shepard constantly acting as a badass and alien sex. That's what I remember from ME2. A mixed bag of good and bad, with hopes that bad will be fixed and good will be explored further.

I remember ME1 best due to my 502 playthroughs to date, ME2 was....um....a game I played a few years back. ME3 was a great conclusion to this identity challenged trilogy. As many jabs as I just threw I must say it's my most played collection beating Jak and Daxter by a couple hundred playthroughs.

I remember it for the... disbelief stretching Lazarus Project, the great character content and world exposition, the creepy collectors and harbinger taunts, the fabulous Martin Sheen performance, the continuity threads reflected in several cameos by characters introduced in ME1, the tedious planet scanning, non-existent companion armors, the well-designed SM, all wrapped up in craptastic mechanics.

Remember when you realized you were playing a vapid game with cliche characters and thought to yourself.."was this made by Michael Bay?"

Remember when you thought "What happened to Mass Effect?"

No, but I remember when I thought, "Hey, this is way better than ME1".

I remember how the teaser trailer already spoiled the shock moment at the beginning of the game and how the beginning was still awesome.

I remember the launch trailer, which IMO to this day is the best trailer I have ever seen for anything.

I remember how I felt that my Shepard got shoved into Cerberus against my will and that control was taken away from the player.

I remember how, even when playing it for the first time, I thought that this does not feel like the second part of a trilogy.

I remember how the massively improved controls and level design quickly made me forget about those issues.

I remember how I loved the N7 missions for their short and concise game experiences with new ideas and even little multi-mission side stories (like the defective mechs) and how I missed large environments and the MAKO at the same time.

I remember missing the Normandy SR1 but being amazed by the cool new stuff on the SR2.

I remember hating the main storyline because of the wasted potential (yes, it was clear even back then) and how this was reconciled to some degree by the great recruitment- and loyalty-missions.

I remember a brilliant final mission with one of the worst final bosses ever.

I remember my disappointment about the very small role of Liara in ME2 before DLCs came out.

I remember refusing to buy appearance and firepower packs because they were a rip-off and some of the first micro-DLCs that are now so ubiquitous in gaming

I remember a series of really great story DLCs that made the game what it is today and without which it doesn't feel like the complete experience.

I remember the time on BSN between ME2 and ME3 which was signified by a mix of skepticism, due to the shortcomings ME2 had in it's main plot and extreme enthusiasm for the potential that ME3 had if they would just transfer the storytelling quality from the crew missions to the main ones.

Yes, I do remember ME2, it's good sides and it's bad ones. I hope the devs will do the same, should they ever decide to make another trilogy.

I remember waiting and waiting and waiting for an explanation for the Lazarus Project and what exactly happened to Shepard and never getting one.

I remember the completely OOC behavior for both Shepard and the VS on Horizon.

I remember wanting to investigate the Collectors and Reapers, but only fighting endless hordes of faceless mercs who simply had the misfortune of being in my way.

I remember some pretty lolworthy superhero costumes being worn by teammates.

I remember "Ah, yes, 'Reapers'"

I remember how cool it was to be able to talk to a geth, and learn of their truly alien perception of the galaxy

I remember being able to visit the quarian flotilla, something I'd wanted to do since ME1

I remember finally being able to defy the Illusive Man

I remember Lair of the Shadow Broker.

I remember meeting Wrex "Shepard!  My friend!"

Visiting quarian flotilla was something I liked a lot! And since I read the books prior to playing ME2, Tali's pass phrase was a great touch :) It was confined like most (if not all) of ME2 locations but I loved it! :)

No, though I finished 503 earlier today. Keep in mind over 450 of those are useing my first created character and not 100% completion playthroughs. In fact many are just main mission playthroughs.

I remember it as my favourite game by a long shot. And it still is.

And I don't mean favourite ME game, I mean my favourite game...

Same here.

I remember loving Mass Effect 1 and wondering how Mass Effect 2 could compete.

I remember being absolutely blown away by Mass Effect 2, from the explosive beginning, to the story, the characters, the improved combat, to telling off The Illusive Man. (I still think the story is great, okay! A story is so much more than its plot.)

I remember not being able to get into the A.I. Core to unplug EDI. (I will not have an A.I. aboard my ship!). I remember finally being able to get into the A.I. Core, but only to activate a Geth mobile platform. EDI remains in the ship....

I remember finishing the game... then immediately starting a new playthrough with another ME1 import.

I remember trying to play Mass Effect 1 again to get another import... and hating every second of it because it was delaying me from playing Mass Effect 2 again. I have since come around to liking Mass Effect 1 again.

I remember taking a break from Mass Effect 2 to play another game, only to ditch it and play Mass Effect 2 again because it was still a much better game.

And most of all... I remember this community for helping me get better at the game by sharing build advice and combat strategy as I learned to play on Insanity.

^^ Legion certainly has an impressive reveal: when it stands up and says 'Shepard Commander' the choir starts chanting and the organ starts playing, that is some way to make an entrance :)

But my best gameplay moment ever is the entire suicide mission. That is in my opinion the finest game level I ever experienced and one of the reasons why I love 2.

I enjoyed the SM immensely, except for the fact that the Reaper fetus thing was a damn Terminator knockoff.  I won't say it ruined the experience, but I was pretty ticked off,  I hope they can try to get something original going in the next games.  Surely they can't be that low on creativity that they need to directly steal other peoples ideas, or come up with an all new never seen before bad guy in the last 10 minutes.....  oh wait.  Nvm.

As for ME2 runs.....  I am looking at about 45-47.
