It has already won 200 awards, as compared to 100 for DA, so it must therefore be twice as good.
But you don't want to play that, you want to play DAMP.

dang! 200 awards...
i guess it is better.
W3 has won 200 awards already? The game isn't even out yet! CDPR must be doing something right.
What? It's May already?
Lame.
strong logic
Well,I enjoyed both Witchers,so I hope 3rd won't disappoint me.Pre-ordered ages ago.

I'll be playing Witcher 3 at launch + DAMP at weekends.
Pretty lame OP though...
How many awards have they got?
Those games are above and beyond simple rewards.

Same here, but couldn't swear on that if our dear Biower makes Dragonslayer exceptionally fun.

^^Meaning: They got no awards = 0/10 = no Master Race material.
They have some of the best PR in the industry.CDPR must be doing something right.
How about Seiken Densetsu 3? or whateversitsname in English.I'd rather play Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana

I heard they already announced two expansions,Hearts of stone and Blood and wine. Not sure if that is good move, though.

Along with Season Expansion Pass, no less.
Their PR has it covered. Fans are already drooling and you can find posts like "this is how DLCs should be done", "other developers should take note" etc.

Quite a feat after the Evolve release.
What's it with the MP forum and formatting?
It's as if people are starting threads like they're responding to their Whatsapp group while waiting for Spirit Blade to cool down. If you're gonna be the popular kid at the top of the list, at least give it the time to have the title start with a capital letter. Also, that's not even a topic. Or a title. Or a sentence for that matter. Goddamnit.
(I feel better now. I never even stopped loving all of you)
Who says threads have to start with a capital or be sentences?
You guys do realize that it is actually being advertised as having over 200 awards before it has been even released right?
If you haven't been able to fathom it, I am pointing out how ridiculous the gaming industry has gotten, which I feel is a relevant topic of discussion here.

I just did, I had to renew my grumpy old man membership card for this year.

It is indeed. I was just nitpicking on the phrasing for reasons stated above. (And because the topic list in the MP boards tends to do look like a chatroom rather than a list of topics to discuss)
The Witcher games are good. Witcher 3 is going to be good. I just don't buy into the whole "CDPR is a charity"-thing.
People sometimes fail to realise that because of the very faux-independent status they have, they couldn't even market DLC and other paid content the evil EA way, if they wanted to. It's lucky for us, for now. However, some are going to be in for a big surprise when the continued success and the resulting expectations forces them to switch to a... different, more "common" funding model.
Like some game company we all know.

If I`d start a gaming review site now, I`d add GOTY to the highest bidd... I mean the best game around - you know, they`ll give me previews and stuff, so I can have traffic and those juicy ads.. I mean journalistic professionalism. Sure, they`ll probably pay me at around 2 used string ends and a half used beer keg, but still, they can add "GOTY by HotAirReviews - Simply stupendous, extraordinary, marvellous, magnificent, and good too".
This is like the boxing titles now, sadly - there are too many to actually mean anything at this point - 200 or 5000, all the same.

Interested in my "Gaming Review Startup Site of the Day" Award? You'll need all the interest it can rise to your new site. And we can surely come to terms about the revenue side.
