There isn't one thing I can think of that DAI MP does better than ME3.

You land in the lobby,then decide if you want join,switch characters,or leave.It's much better than MEMP lobbies.

The lobby requiring high gpu load doesn't make a whole lot of sense though.

Yeah,agreed about the gpu load,but there's also the option to kick players while in game which is nice too.
