Hi all!

As it's good to look at and even copy other artists work, I thought it'd be handy to have a compilation of online galleries we like.

I start by linking the Rijksmuseum online gallery; it has more than 200k works that can be zoomed in really close to see every detail. A very interesting feature is that you can filter by colour scheme. Have fun!

Ooh this looks very cool! I will have to check this out sometime.  :D I can't think of any galleries to link to right now but I'll look around and see what I can find!

This is amazing! I was contemplating trying to copy some Rembrandt pieces for practice. Really, any of the classics will do, however. Very nice. Thank you for sharing!

Glad you find it useful! The Museo del Prado also has an online gallery; advanced search is only available in Spanish, but you can ask me if you need help with any term. Here is the link.

I just went to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and didn't even think of their online gallery! Great idea! There were some great sculptures there that I wish I could've sat down to draw...poorly

Here is their online catalog!

Thank you, Qween! Maybe I'll try drawing the Cypriot sculptures, that way I can say "the original is like that!" when making mistakes xD I'm joking, it's a wonderful gallery with lots of inspiration! (and me is going to copy that Alexander McQueen oyster dress one of these days)
