I would love him to be in the game since in DA2, Bodahn mentions that Empress Celene has taken an interest in Sandal's abilities and that he and Sandal would move out to Orlais. Imagine my disappointment when I didn't run into him or his father

If there's ever a DLC that takes us deeper into Val Royeaux, I'd like to see him, though I would have preferred that he show up somewhere at the Winter Palace along with Bodahn. It would've been amusing to see them both dressed to the 9's and random Orlesian NPC's trying to chat up Sandal, responding to his "Enchantment" as if it's engaging conversation.

I was really disappointed that Sandal and Bodahn didn't show up, would much rather have been able to recruit them than to have Dagna, or to have them as well as Dagna. Or even just to see them in Val Royeaux especially as Bodahn said that was where they were going when talking to Hawke in DA2 and of course there was Sandal's prophecy … really miss them both

I'd like to see him turned into a super good looking gent, "Steve Urcle from Family Matters"-style, galantly taking a lady's hand and saying "Enchanted to make your aquaintance".

 

I'd call him Sandálle.

The absence of Sandal and Bodahn is fairly insulting to long time franchise players. These npc's were very clearly set up to appear in this game AND then they just don't?  I've not seen any of the devs offer an explanation for this gaffe. 

 

That being the case, I prefer that we just write them out of Dragon Age with no explanation. However, I would like to see Sandal's head encased in a glass jar on a shelf in the Black Emporium. Which would make about as much sense as these beloved characters not earning a chance to interact with the Inquisitor as they previously did with our Warden & Hawke?

I would have liked a nod, similar to the dragon/Master Wade War Table mission, but that would be enough. No DLC or special appearance needed, for me.

I'd love that! Not super-high priority for what I want to see in expansions but I always love him on Team Protagonist.

I don't think it will be that hard to add him in a future dlc, it is a minor thing so i guess it's always possible.

If you're not being sarcastic, your nerdrage meter needs some serious recalibration. I want to see Sandal as much as anyone - I've made several joking posts about it - but to state that it's an "insult" and demand a dev explanation is entitled gamer lunacy.
