Who knows. No answer is given. I imagine so... Maybe. Depends on how much white-washing they did on Hawke's character when they were trying to dislodge them as viscount.

I doubt it. There'll always be power-hungry people that vie to the viscount seat.
Even then, Hawke seems very bitter about everything in Kirkwall. Since Hawke is no longer controllable, I doubt they'd go back to kirkwall when there's nothing for him/her now

Except everything that was there before. It's not like Varric and friends plan to stay in Skyhold permanently. They all talk about going back. And Aveline is still in control there, so I doubt anyone will be taking over anytime soon.

By himself you have to be mad, Hawke is dead that why my second time around I left Stroud. I mean in death sacrifice its part of their freaking motto Stroud was willing. I mean imagine if you will, what would happened if they corrupted Hawke I would not be able to look at Varric anymore.

Hawke is currently hanging out with Duncan in the presumed dead zone.

No if he/she could there would be no reason for him/her or warden sacrifice themselves in first place if hawke could kill it hawke plus inquisitor with his party and warden would just kill nightmare instead leaving one person to distract it.
