Btw,while we at,I would like to know will next Mass Effect have the same matchmaking system as DAMP?
Also devs promised matchmaking system in DAMP will be improved, but as I see it,mm s is the same as it was.

I'm going to assume it will be until I see otherwise. That would suck.
No.

I think the next Mass Effect will be a MMO, or around that design philosophy. Yes, big words and a lot of pulled out of my behind words also, but it can be explained logically why such a decision could be made.
OT: So, in theory, we`ll have dedicated servers - if those turn out to be just trash cans like the newer SWTOR ones, with rampant lag and crashes, as opposed to just a year earlier, when they were stable as a rock, that we will see when we get there.
Personally I'm done looking for parties unless I am invited by someone I know. I just start mine and let people join while I am zoning in.
The amount of people with terrible connections is really amazing.
personally i feel if you have a problem with the speed you should host i cant seem to find hosts but ppl find me

Do you have an actual source for that? Because that would most likely mean the end of the road of Mass Effect for many fans, me included.
I wanted to like SWTOR, I really did. And I *did* like the story parts, unfortunately I just couldn't handle all the MMO trash that came with it.

For some two years now, the next Mass Effect has been confirmed not to be an MMO.
Quoting Yannick Roy, BioWare Studio Director (2/7/13)
"While getting a Mass Effect MMO at some point is not impossible, you'll be happy to hear that this is not the game we're talking about when we talk about the next Mass Effect. :)"
I have 30MB down / 8MB up and guys I play with still say they are lagging on my connection
A lot of blame lies with the ISPs or Bioware/Netcode themselves.....it's not always the player.
The amount of empty lobbies I get are shocking.

When it comes to this game, it's all down to biower.

No sources, just "a hunch" based on how a certain publisher is hell bent on butchering everything. Kotor series ended up an MMO, then the same studio pulled out another MMO, Battlefield 4 got almost a clone with new skins in the shape of Hardlines and for a while now it looks more of a push towards products that push microtransactions, in the form of the gambling crap the previously mentioned publisher "patented".
My personal desire is to be kept a single player game also, but I won`t trust Mr. Yannick Roy until the game is oficially announced with something more than concept art and lots of words.
host more often.
i cant find a game unless i host and wait 10 minutes.
Here is how it goes,
Try to get into an existing lobby...wait ...wait...wait....wait....lobby matching thinking.....wait...wait....appear in lobby as the host. Leave lobby and try again...wait ...wait...wait....wait....lobby matching thinking.....wait...wait....appear in lobby as the host. Leave lobby and try again...wait ...wait...wait....wait....lobby matching thinking.....wait...wait....appear in lobby as the host. Leave lobby and try again...wait ...wait...wait....wait....lobby matching thinking.....wait...wait....appear in lobby as the host. Leave lobby and try again...wait ...wait...wait....wait....lobby matching thinking.....wait...wait....appear in lobby as the host.
or.....
Get into game, play 2 or 3 waves, host disappears via disconnection or rage quite....wait ....wait.....wait.....wait....host migration in progress.....wait....wait....wait...start the wave again, oh noes they have chosen me to host, rest of team are bouncing around like super balls.
I really have zero clue at all what goes into good or poor connections. I have cable internet, I do not live in Togo togo, I still get many people complaining when I host.

I am playing lately with 2 Italian players, me being from Romania, with not the greatest upload speed around. Three cases so far, one of the 2 leaves lobby (what I see as the better connection between the two), I get selected as host over the closer Italian 2nd player - granted, her connection is really bad, but it SHOULD take priority if only distance is a factor - it always selects USA host upon migration when I am the only non-USA player in the lobby, btw.
Tested 2 times in DAMP and one time in ME3 or the other way around and I won`t go out of my way to test further. My connection IS a solid land line, with stable ping from a very respected provider - in fact both "main" providers in my Country are top notch when it comes to not having packet loss or stupid routing. Using ADSL over phone line right now, as the other provider`s optic fiber isn`t here yet.

Reported for stealing Kenny's thing. He only has 1 badge. Stop stealing his thing.
To be fair, I'm not the only one who uses it here.

The Hosting problem is tricky, since you could be great for some and bad for others, i am sure its something bad about the "Game To Server" configuration. One thing i do is is to befriend those people who have good host (TO ME) and stalk them every time i see them on.
And about the Mic?... my cat likes to lie besides my left side of the keyboard and he often press the control key...... Its true, he once scratched my hand when i tried to Synthesize Sheppard.
