Hi! Little weird question here.

 

I love Dorian as a character, but playing as a female inquisitor obviously didn't let me do much. However, I did his personal quest as soon as the possibility arrived (so yeah, I'm still at the beginning of the game). But when I was reading about this quest afterwards, I noticed that I didn't have that "You led me on" conversation option, which should be available for females who flirted with Dorian. And I flirted and talked THE HELL OUT of him before to the point where I had no options to talk about before I started his quest.

 

As weird as it sounds, I don't want to finish his quest without this "you led me on" bit of conversation. So my question is: Was my quest bugged or did I simply finished it too soon and I would have more possibilities of flirting with him in future so that I could do his quest with all the options later? Am I making any sense here?

When you talk to him afterwards (the cutscene directly after the meeting), you have to ask him if he is alright..top left of the wheel iirc, that will lead to him asking what you think of him and that's when you get the you led me on option. If you didn't at that point and have been flirting with him then it must be bugged for you. It is there though as I get it all the time.

 

It's not weird at all, I do it all the time and love using that line cause he has such a sweet response

You know, as much as I adore Dorian and his response, I'd honestly like to think my inquisitor has better gaydar than that.  I do.  The flirting was mutual!!

Have you flirted with Blackwall at all and taken the romance option when on the battlements?  That can lock in a romance with him and sometimes cut you out of other flirt options (even when they're options with a character you cannot go anywhere with such as Cass or Dorian).

If you flirted/pursued any of the other romances I'm guessing then your inquisitor doesn't really feel led on since she's pursuing other romances anyway, and you can flirt with pretty much everyone without it being serious.

Nah a female inquisitor doesn't get locked out of flirting with Dorian like that. You can always flirt with him even while romancing someone else because there is no potential for anything.

Going by my experience, If you've taken all the flirt options with Dorian up to that moment, whether you are romancing someone else or not you should still get that option, though if you are romancing someone already it'll have a 'Special' option symbol rather than a 'Flirt' option symbol. 

 

Anyway I don't think you can get the quest 'too soon', even after you choose that option, you can mention you enjoy the flirting and you'll get more options after that, eventually.
