I'd be down. I'm pretty burned out on the new protag thing every game. It'd be nice to have the option to just play as whatever character I felt like playing at the time, or a good story from three different perspectives or something ( HoF, Hawke, Inquiz ). I doubt they'll ever be a game like that though.
Just trying to think...
Maybe you can do a DLC for your warden looking for a cure for THEIR calling
Or if you made the ultimate sacrifice, maybe the Orlesian warden looking for a cure THE calling, as in a solution for all wardens?
Maybe find out some dark stuff along the way lore wise.
I just don't know if you could dedicate a whole DLC directly to the Warden if people made the ultimate sacrifice. Orlesian warden allows people to still play. I would say such a DLC would be better for someone who had their Warden live though as it would provide more dialogue etc.
Party could be Warden-Dog and love interest - Allistair/Morrigan/Zev/Leliana and someone else
Not sure who would be with the Orlesian warden? - Nate? Sigrun?
Spit balling here.
No, but only because I don't think Bioware could really take the time to create a DLC (let alone a full game) with all the variable Wardens that we all played. Human, Elf, Dwarf; broken down further into Human Noble, Magi, City Elf, Dalish Elf, Dwarf Commoner, Dwarven Noble. Then broken down further into class: Warrior, Mage, Rouge. And who did you romance? All those variables would have to be taken into account to create a DLC or Game that worked for all of us, considering the number of times we've all played DA:O (myself completed 7 play throughs). As much as I loved DA:O, I have in my imagination how each of my wardens progressed with the rest of their lives. I wouldn't mind cameos from some of my former companions, and I think how Bioware handled the cameo of Hawke in DA:I worked really well. But bringing back the Hero of Ferelden just wouldn't work.
All that is what Dragons Keep is for.

This is a pretty good idea. It could be an expansion similar to Awakenings. I'd probably include the Dog regardless of whether you import a Warden or create a new one.

Not even sure if Dog would still be alive. It's a large breed dog and it's been like 10 years since Dragon Age: Origins.
I'm sure the writing team could expand a little further on the life expectancy of the breed though...maybe they have a 15-16 year life span at best.
No, I want to play as a northener next.

Not really, I'm happy with where my Warden is. I definitely don't want to play as Hawke either, didn't like that character. I can't say if I want to play as the IQ again in other Dragon Age's until this one is officially done.
I like having a new character in each game in Dragon Age.
Main reason is when you talk to people about events regarding a previous character you played they sound more honest in how they interpret the events.
Really liked how some people talk about how Loghain made the right call to retreat in Origins because the Wardens were late in lighting the fire and going in then would have been suicide.
So it is nice because it gives a different perspective on events if you have played previous games.
Why are ppl so obsessed with the warden? That's an honest question, I'm curious.
I have no desire to watch them degenerate into cannibalistic ghouls or commit "suicide by darkspawn"
Playing "a" warden in his/her last days would be an interesting character premise. I would like to see what bioware could cook up with that concept.
Do we want Dragon Age to be like The Witcher?
The Witcher is more realistic and has better combat so yeah if the witcher 3 combat in party system was utilized then yeah. if I can fight on horseback then yea.....duh
No. A lot of them are already dead anyway.

I lol'd at this.
Its more dynamic I meant. Its fantasy lol. It is funny no that I think about it.
And I speaking of what the Witcher 3 looks lie and what the witcher 2 was like and my anticipations here now in between the two.
Oh look.
bring back the warden thread #3467 and counting.
The obsession is real.

No.
Every DLC in Inquisition should have the Inquisitor as main character.
A DLC yes or a cameo like with Hawke, I just would like a good ending to the warden story (hopefully with the LI )

Realism is an extremely highly over-rated concept and that was one of the many reasons why I didn't care for The Witcher 2 much.
