Hello everyone,

It's StarFlorge,

This is my crit assassin rouge build that is a very fun and very high damage build, I dont show it off very well in the combat part near the end however it is very good at high burst killing both easy and hard mobs quickly, i have one shot arch demons before. Hope you enjoy it, here it is:

Assassins do not need critical chance, as stealth is 100% crit.

Except you can only stealth after it coolsdown or you kill an enemy.  If you are killing them that fast, nothing matters...just rub your face on your keyboard/controller.  However when you are fighting something of interest, like a giant, a dragon, etc, you won't be re-stealthing every single attack.

So yes, crit does matter!!!!!

Well, there is the skirmisher upgrade for Flank Attack.

Well there is normal difficulty where you can just rub your face up and down the keyboard and beat the game half drunk.

I play on normal, and still build my characters as if they are on nightmare.

And I care why?  Just because you have a spec that you've seen on nightmare doesn't mean it plays the same, nor does it mean the same tactics work.  On normal difficulty you can literally one shot almost every enemy in the game other than bosses as an assassin.  Who cares if you have a nightmare spec.  You're playing on a difficulty that doesn't require strategy.  You can just blindly charge into every battle and come out the other side without caring what button you are pressing.

If you do not care, why did you respond? I try to play as close to nightmare as possible without being on it. I hate the fake difficulty that only serves to make the game more challenging without being fun.

Besides, The only assassin I 'play' is Cole, and that is only in Emprise du Lion when I am going after those villager captured by red templars.

In the end, all you need is sneak attack (doubles crit chance if flanking), the best daggers you can get (ones with high damage), and the chain passive that increases crit chance by 1% per attack, UNTIL you CRIT. You do not need all that much crit chance on your equipment.

No. Unforgiving Chain is useless enough on it's own but the passive that precedes it, Bloodied Prey, is even worse.

OP: 25% is good enough as far as crit chance goes (since Sneak Attack will get you to 50% if flanking) and that's easily attainable through schematics.
The Dual Curved Blade has an offensive leather slot for crit chance and an offensive cloth slot for crit damage (provided you have Dragon Webbing).
The Dense Dual Blade Grip has slots for boosting crit chance and/or crit damage as well.

It was an example, not serious.

So i have just seen this argument going on xD and Crit is a good thing to have, with the extra stealth bonus and other rouge passives to make you crit, having a base of 40% + crit mean you will nearly be criting all the time, not just some, and why is this useful? well if you think there more crit means more damage, which means more kills which means more stamina. This build is all about killing enemy's as quick as you can and the high amount of crit helps make this true, play a rouge with crit and then without and you'll see the difference for yourselves :)

Crit chance is fine, but make sure to add some critical damage as well, or the bonus will not be useful.

Hello everyone,

It's StarFlorge

Just going to bump all of my post so that new people can easily find my builds and people that missed them can view them. I am really great full for everyone that watches my videos, leaves a like and has subscribed it means alot, also this is a note to say i will be on holiday soon therefore will be no new videos for a while im not just going away forever :) but in this time it would really help me for everyone to leave a comment here or in any you tube video to suggest videos for me to do based on what you want to see. There is a video for almost everything but me being new i do things my own way, so anything you want to see at all weather a video has been made on it or not such as how to get specializations or more builds etc, so please leave a comment   and i hope to grow my channel and the link with this forum,

Thanks and Happy Adventuring :)

So seen as the forums have been change, to be merged which i must think was a big bad idea, ill be bumping my post as they used to be page 1. all i want to do is give builds to people to take away change to their own or not and get a good experience with the mage and other classes i have done.

Also my group will get each video posted sooner than the main forum as it is more convenient now, and also if you want to share ideas for a build or want a build please post in my group and then i can turn it into a video so just head over here: http://forum.bioware...ge-dragon-age/

My goal is to make a community to bring loads of build and also game play when new dlc's/games come out

Happy Adventuring :)

Stone Stalker Blade schematic- available in the Descent- in one of the canisters at the very first camp. It trumps anything available at even the BE. Also- the first Ogre you kill when you first arrive at the Descent- drops a great dagger called Silencer- which has the Hidden Blades masterwork attached to it.
