Hi -

I've read the FAQ and I know this isn't currently implemented - but is this something the devs are considering implementing?

unlikely.

No. The Keep doesn't care if your Warden slept around, it cares about whether or not you ended up with someone. Leliana wouldn't bring up the Warden sleeping with her before dumping her for Morrigan, so why even include it.

Edit: WHoops read it wrong.

Less concerned about that, more thinking along the lines of "romanced Blackwall until the big reveal then romanced..." or "romanced Solas until the break-up then romanced...".

Say, for example, you import keep data for future DLC. Suddenly, a former paramour acts like nothing ever happened, as does the rest of the party, that would be disappointing. I'd also imagine that at least in the respect of Solas, it might matter very much if your Inquisitor romanced him at all, even if they wound up with someone else, in future games and not just DLC.

Actually, I don't think this would be an issue, personally.  At least based on how they handled the Origins returning characters.  All of them treat the Warden as though they were someone very important to them, regardless of relationship.  I believe Leliana uses the phrase 'dear to my heart' even when not romanced (unless you killed her during the Sacred Ashes quest, or never recruited her, that is)

In fact, I exploited the glitch in Origins to romance both Morrigan and Leliana throughout the game; without ever having to choose.  Even though I had to make a choice for the Keep, much of what Morrigan said regarding my Warden felt very in character for her; even if I never ticked an option that said "Warden and Morrigan were once in a romance".  Maybe it has something to do with how she still performed the ritual with him, but from what I've seen of the alternative scenes with Morrigan I doubt it.

All you really need to establish was if the party member was friendly to the Inquisitor by the end of things.  If they were, I imagine the dialogue won't go into too much detail as to the extent of their relationship.  It'll just be along the lines of "the Inquisitor was important to me." and you can infer from that whatever their relationship really was.  Likewise, dumping Blackwall after his loyalty mission I'm fairly certain gives you low approval with him.  You don't really need to know why Blackwall hated your Inquisitor in a future game; something like "I'd prefer not to talk about the bloody Inquisitor." would suffice.  Whether he hates you because you broke up with him after finding out who he was, or because you were just an ass to him, is all up to player interpretation of his lines.

Not to mention coding for every potential variant of when you could break up with someone and how that would affect their interactions in future games would likely be a nightmare.  :P

Yeah this is what I'm concerned about.

I'm surprised it isn't there as the game itself recognizes such relationships. For example, Sera and Iron Bull have special banter if the Inquisitor has been with both of them.

I won't say it would be something they won't do, but I think it will depend on how much time they have available to work on The Keep and the metrics they get with people preforming those actions. To me there would be a lot of work needed to be done to get that to work and they still need to get the majority of Inquisition imports working.
