Probably because no one knew Alistair as the Grey Warden was going to come back in DAI and they wanted to keep it under wrap.

It could be they're releasing videos they had filmed earlier now that they are in a bit of a lull... Let's see if another one pops up next week.
Who knows, just enjoy the video and keep speculation to a minimum. They also released those "behind-the-scenes," videos a while back as well which to me doesn't make a lot of sense, as they were well after release. This clips could just be stock footage that they thought we might want to see.
I would Alistair DLC but he can be dead which makes Alistair centered DLC rather unlikely.

Yeah, that's my theory, as well, since the character kits etc. are making a return too. I'm just questioning the relevance of Alistair when the other VA videos are about irreplaceable characters. Not that I mind, though, and I hope they shot these funny video + more serious video combos of everyone (considering Miranda Raison's was a lot like this new one).

Which characters do you like. I loved Alistair, but hated whiney Fenris, Anders,, guache Iron Bull and Ohgren, and arogant Vivienne
I liked all the DA:O characters except Alistar, I didn't really care for Fenris or Anders. I don't have any "issues" with any of the DA:I characters although it took me until my second play through to warm up to Sera. She is one of my favorites now.
I don't like Alistair either, my reaction towards him is pretty much the same reaction that Meredith has towards him in a world state where he is king.
If you don't like Alistair, you suck.
That is my professional opinion.
