The Mass Relays can destroy both organic (low ems) AND Machines and does so in the entire galaxy.                         But the halo rings can destroy only organics in the same galaxy. So what do you guys think?

The Halo rings target all sentient life in their radius, the mass relays either just straight-up annihilate everything (a la Arrival) or target only specific things.

Well the Relays explode when destroyed and this explosion is huge and extremely powerful. Ordinarily though they are simply used as a form of transportation.

The Halos however are weapons of mass destruction.

Very different.

It's funny that the Mass Relays CAN target while the Type 4 Forrunners built the messy Halo's to do one thing, DESTROY all organic life.                         I belive that the Citadel/Relays could target the DNA of the flood and make them docile or just kill them. Why did out of the 4 million diffrent possibilities the Forrunners had they didn't even come across something like the Mass Relays?

Because the Halo rings are a plot device. As are the Forerunners themselves.

Yep. I agree. The rings are a blanket solution while the relays are more precise. Then again i guess the rings are a quicker way to get the job done

The Halo's were designed as super weapon's against a specific enemy the flood by wiping out sentient life in the galaxy and were to be used as a last resort. The relay's however are first and foremost a mean's of getting from one part of the galaxy to another they're not weapons and blowing one up will only destroy things in the explosions radius and their not practical as weapons.

You really don't have a good understanding of halo's lore do you? In Halo lore the prehistoric human empire did develop a weapon that targets flood DNA and were successful in employing it against them but the flood retreated. At the same time however they were fighting the forerunners in a final act of revenge against the forerunners they destroyed the weapon. Not only that the flood span multiple galaxies and are actually the precursors (the species the created the forerunners and humanity.

The citadel and relay's need the crucible to be used as weapon's and the crucible was specifically designed to destroy the reaper's. The reason why the crucible was able to destroy organics was because it was significantly damaged in the low EMS ending. So your pretty much overestimating what the relay's are capable of.
