If it's a melee Juggernaut, fine. If it's me then you just took away my shield recharge and I'm going down within the next 3 seconds.

Any time a Jugg grabs something, I imagine they're calling out "Kill it, quick! So I can grab the next target for you guys/gals!" So I'm happy to comply

 

Of course, if it's me playing the Jugg then I'm actually probably saying "Leave it the **** alone, I need to get my ****** shields back so don't shoot it, you dumb fucks! Oh, you just shot it anyway!! You **** sucking mother ****** bastards! Aaargh!!" (*collapses to ground*).

 

You forgot the "leave the lobby if there is an N7 Paladin" part, thus repeating steps 1-4

That would only add time to the NON-playing part of the process, and so simply constitute a further "enforcer" of my point

Haha this is why I dont melee Juggy (aside from the dullness). My Juggy is a master of the moonwalk

So you'd prefer to spend several minutes logging in to Xbox Live, starting ME3, picking a character, gearing up, searching for a game, watching loading screens for several minutes, spawn in, have the game be over in 15 minutes, spend several minutes waiting for the scoreboard, some loading screens to get back to the lobby, wait while everyone goes the the store and then eventually readies up, play for 15 minutes, and repeat?

 

To me, the actual playing the game part is the fun element. I don't mind if it takes a few minutes longer.

 

And that said, I don't see how a melee Juggy makes the game longer. Anything he's holding is something I can kill in a few seconds.

 

And I'd rather not add another ~5 minutes to that. I'd rather have the other players, you know actually kill something. Meleeing everything in sight and spamming sheild boost does nothing. I've shared on here a situation where the other two PUGs bled out, leaving me and a shield boost spamming Volus. I didn't need the shield boosts, and was capable of staying alive, so how the **** was that helping me?

 

How the hell does a melee only juggy not make the game longer? The time you spend killing stuff is time you could've spent killing something else elsewhere.

Now let's think about a Banshee. How long does it take to take her down while she's jumping after you? You back away and shoot and hit her with a power and repeat. A minute? Two minutes? Now compare to when the Shee gets grabbed by the Jugg. She's dead within, what, 15 seconds?

Pretty sure it'd take the same amount of time. It doesn't exactly take a long time to get her to stop jumping. Not everyone runs away terrified. 

 

Obviously I haven't collated any of this information because I've got better things to do with my time, but it's fairly obvious to anyone that kills fairly quickly. If you haven't noticed it, then I don't know what to say.

Melee only juggy is just a play style. If you don't like it then simply leave the lobby.

I recently had a 20 min pug platinum match with a person playing a melee juggy. They tanked and distracted enemies well. Maybe it could have been even faster had he focused more on killing. I really don't care though. Speed isn't everything. We all extracted and it was a good game.

It's not the most efficient way to play the kit, I realize that. Some people just find certain play styles fun though.
